The old man at reception is extremely rude. No one here speaks any English at all. The room I'm in is tiny, cold, dark and dingy. Look at the picture I've uploaded - the reality is far worse. I asked for boiled water to put in my hot water bottle and they refused. I asked to be moved to a...

The old man who is at the reception most of the time (I don't know if he is the owner) was pretty rude to us. The room description said it included air conditioning, but the room he first put us in didn't have any, just a really tiny ridiculous fan. We complained, and he said that the hotel description said...

This is a verry cheap hotel, and you can't expect more. It's all fine for a few nights, but not more. The personel was nice, a bit loud, but verry helpfull. They did not speak a lot of english, just portuguese. It is 10/15 min to walk to the next metro stop.

Nice place to stay for few nights. Private parking spot, but a bit challenge to drive up. Quite place. Small rooms. In my booking was written to have a room with AC, no AC. Staff doesn't speak English. 20 min walk from the river.

This is a family business, with one-two employees who help cleaning. The house is in extremely poor conditions, with mold everywhere. The bed was squeaking, the furniture, bed sheets and towels were worn out. Under the bed sheets (that were almost transparent for being so deteriorated) there was a plastic sheet. There was no air conditioning (as presented on Booking),...

Me and my partner spent a couple nights in Porto last week and we stayed at Bela Star. Pros: price was great as well the location. It also offers free parking on site. It was clean. Cons: bad mattress and pillows (we had back aches every night), noisy beds. We could ear the neighbors moving on their beds! It is...

The hotel offer free parking which was very convenient. the building is old (which was what we were looking for) rooms were a little too small but had private bathrooms with bathtub and well clean. in the heart of porto walking distance to restaurants, shops and metro. Mr Pinto and the security guy were very friendly and helpful. They gave...

I really don't know where to start... - The room was completely different that the one announced. - The towels had holes. Like, big holes. - The bed was really bad - Super small window - Furniture deteriorated But the worst is yet to come. In the first morning, and after a normal shower, the water behind the bide started...

Price and close to the city center. Difficult access to parking place - on the hill behind the accommodation. Really small rooms without free electricity plug - only one. Average clean and poor Wi-Fi. Staff dont speak english.

Why? Why when I called the hostel to inform them that I will check in in the morning instead of in the night to be sure they won't cancel my reservation... The man on the phone yelled at me because i dont speak portuguese? He was very agressive and he didnt speak another language so it was impossible to talk....
