BUDGET – TRENDY – BUSINESSThe Hotel Siru Brussels is a unique property, convenient for your business visits, family and lovers city breaks, and for all your leisure trips. The history of this hotel goes back to the 18th century, when coaches and barouches stopped at the Saint-Jean Hotel which served as a love getaway for Arthur Rimbaud and Paul Verlaine. The building is today one of the oldest buildings in the city of Brussels, and more particularly one of the oldest hotels still in activity.

The hotel is well located, close to the metro and 15 min walk to the city centre. As the description clearly says, this is an old hotel and that is clearly visible in the way the rooms and halls are fashioned. There is one small lift which is extremely slow. I found the rooms

It's a nice little hotel, it's central BUT it's also very near the red light district, which causes it to feel a bit... off-putting in my personal opinion. It's very clean though and the bathroom is spacious. The room itself is fine in size, although on the smaller side. The

Best thing is the location, very close to the bus station, metro, Brussels Noord, walking distance to Grand Place. Good breakfast, polite staff. The price was quite resonable taking into account Brussels is a very expensive town with overpriced hotels. Bad things about this hotel

My room stank of cigarettes (no smoking hotel!). The pillows were cheap (foam) and stank of dirty hair. The carpet was dirty, shower drain was blocked and light switches didn't work. The plumbing is very noisy. Plus points; front of house staff efficient and polite, breakfast

This hotel is fine. Only problem is that we got bit by mosquitoes.

Dependent on your mobility and luggage you could take the train from the airport to the main station in Brussels and walk to the hotel - approximately a 15/20 minute walk.

Hi, the train from the airport will bring you to Brussels North (Nord) and then you just walk about 5 minutes down Rue de Croisades. If arriving late at night I'd suggest a train to Central and then a taxi as I found the area around Nord a bit iffy. The hotel is perfectly safe though so don't be concerned on that front - great hotel. Checkout the brusselsaiport website for airport train details.
