Thanks for a wonderful camping trip again. The area is so peaceful and quiet - we love how safe it is for kids to ride bikes and swim. We saw great wildlife and it is a truly a bush environment. We came for new year and it was the best way to spend it. The facilities are always clean and the...

Amazing setting with great camp sites next to the river. We stayed in the bush camp. You can buy firewood but there's plenty around you can collect yourself. It was so dry when we were there it burnt like a dream. We did the ridge walk which was about 4.5k and Sharon will give you the map with directions. Great...

Hi Pat, Thanks for reviewing us on tripadvisor. I am am glad you enjoyed your stay with us. The ridge walk is one of my favourite's, with different views of the river as you walk along. This time of year there is always a chance of getting close to the wildlife. They like to cool off as well. Regards Steve

For someone who spends a lifetime in front of various screens on crazy deadlines, this is just what the doctor ordered. An incredibly beautiful wilderness wonderland. Loads of walks, the river, swimming, the boats, campfires, great views, friendly helpful hosts and no connection with the outside world whatsoever. We stayed in the cabin which was simple, comfortable and had a...

We traveled along Paddys Flat road to the sign of the wilderness lodge but no direction posted anywhere. We ended up on a very dangerous track we nearly lost the car over the edge.We finally got back up the track after one of the rear wheels got stuck between 2 rocks took ages to get it free and hard for me...

Hi Chris, It was disappointing that you rated our place as terrible given that you never arrived here to experience what the Clarence River Wilderness Lodge is like. Our website and booking form makes it very clear to print off the directions to the lodge and follow these. We have on average 6,000 guests that come to the lodge every...

Just had a magic 2-3 days at Clarence River Wilderness Lodge playing in canoes on a beautiful stretch of Clarence River. Fascinating bushwalks. No computers, no phones, just time to ourselves. We stayed in the four berth cabin which is solar and gas powered. Very comfortable and cosy. Sharon was welcoming and helpful.

Stayed 2 nights at the Wilderness Lodge in a cabin situated overlooking the Clarence River. The cabin had a few little luxuries like electricity, running water, a hot shower & a toilet. Stopped at Sunset Lookout on the way to the lodge which is a must see for a glorious sunset. Did the Ridge walk in the morning which provides...

Private dirt road has been improved since last year. Also, Sharon and Steve are wonderful hosts. They could not have been more helpful when I...

The lovely Stephen and Sharon Ross had my tent all ready for me in a beautiful setting, complete with rugs and tables, a very comfy queen air bed and night lights. I am so grateful for the...

Spent the October long weekend here with a group of friends. Sharon was very welcomming and knew her stuff. We camped and friends had a Bush cabins, both options were superb. A highlight was slowly floating don the river for an hour on a tyre with beer in hand. So much more that could have been done.
