We traveled as a group of three friends and so we got a double room with an extra bed. The interior was great, we loved the bathroom. Only the little window was strange. It didn't face outside, but it connected with the cleaning ladies supply room. We didn't now at first and left it oben to ventilate. My sister got...

Nice boutique hotel with good sized rooms, and awesome balconies. The breakfast each morning was very Greek and very yummy. It is a two block walk to the National Arcehological Museum, and a ten minute cab ride to most sites. The staff was very personal and knew our names each time we walked into the lobby. We also got great info on...

We stayed for three nights. We were a little worried about staying too far from the centre of town, but need not have worried. It was an easy 30 minute walk in to town. On the way in, or out, you passed some great bars and restaurants the locals frequented. The hotel staff were friendly, the breakfast was adequate. Nice...

I stayed here with friends and family for 4 days last month. Certainly NO complaints at all. This place was really good! Excellent Location, very near the metro and bus stops, good locality, great breakfast options (very YUM!) and excellent hospitality (special mention for the front desk guy - his name was Harry / Harris (am sorry,I don't exactly recollect...

Had a great stay here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Well located for a site seeing holiday in Athens just a short transfer from the airport. Rooms to a high standard and very well kept. Great views from the balcony (we were on 6th floor). Close to the National Archeological Museum and tourist bus stops. Good bar attached serving a...

Greeted at the door by a Manager with a friendly smile and welcome. He was very generous with his time and advice on a range of questions first time visitors always have on a first time visit to a city. The room was tastefully decorated with a large and very comfortable bed. The bathroom was in marble with a powerful...

The area looks tacky, but so much of Athens does now. We stayed for a week and never felt unsafe. The rooms are a good size, ours had a mini-fridge, large balcony, and large shower. The breakfast is varied, esp. liked the olives, boiled eggs, tomatoes, feta and Greek yogurt with honey. The staff are friendly and helpful, you will...

Excellent, as it was 6 and also 7 years ago. Great value. Exceedingly helpful and friendly staff. Great breakfast. Clean. Behind its modern art deco and fashionable furnishing, it feels more like a family run hotel. When I'm rich I will live there as resident guest!

Great Hotel, very stylish in decor and the staff were very friendly and informative. Nothing was a problem. Great buffet breakfast and they make really good coffee. The hotel is situated in central Athens and although some of the surrounding areas are a little iffy, it's still pretty well located.

Thank Katrina A

Staying in Exarchia

Neighbourhood Profile
Exarchia is in many ways Athens’ best-kept secret, discovered by relatively few international visitors. Located behind the main University and Polytechnic buildings, it is unsurprisingly home to many students, intellectuals and politicos. This is reflected in the area’s vibrant street art and graffiti, which seems to cover almost every inch of wall space. Some of the best Athenian tavernas are located here, as well as its most alternative bars and underground music venues. You'll find political bookshops and quirky stores here, yet it is also a neighborhood inhabited by families and older folk. On Saturdays, punks and grandmothers alike head for Kallidromiou Street, nestled below Strefi Hill, to pick up fresh produce at the traditional laiki agora (street market).
