Good base for a few days in Athens. Decor a bit dated but it's clean, friendly and spacious. Good value. Has air-conditioning and a small pool. Breakfast included. About 500m from Megharo Moussikis metro.
I enjoyed my stay because of the big and clean rooms, good WiFi, nice terrace and good location. There was a Jacuzzi in the bathroom. However the furniture was worn out. Very nice and friendly staff. The continental breakfast was decent and offered vegetables, feta cheese, ham, bread, etc. Excellent value for money.
We stayed in Art Suites for a couple of days during our trip in Athens. What can I say...the hotel is very well located - the closest metro station (Megaro Moussikis) is in about 200 m. distance. Our room was large and spacious (more like apartment), with nice big bathroom, all most fully equipped kitchen and large balcony. Also the room was cleaned every day, the breakfast was good enough, the wi-fi is free and the staff super nice and helpful. In other hand, the hotel needs a total renovation or at least repair as soon as possible. It looks like everything is falling apart (in our case the bathroom, some of the furniture, the fridge, etc.) The overall experience though, was a pleasant one due to good location, fair accommodation price, quiet neighbourhood, clean room and super polite staff.…
A very old rooms, not clean and full of dust. Not suitable for children. A very old and broken facilities. A poor breakfast and the manager is only promised to solve the problems but forgot so many times to do so. We were very disappointed.
Obviously a block of flats (probably from the 1970s), renovated and turned into a hotel. Basically you get a small apartment, quite comfortable and spacy. The bedroom had a comfortable double bed, a living room/kitchen fully equipped (oven, fridge, cutlery) and a bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi for relaxing private moments. There is a also a balcony, however the area has nothing interesting but at least it is very safe. Metro stop is near, so it is easy to get anywhere. Staff was very polite, the reception does not work during 23:00-8:00 though. Free wi-fi. I would recommend it for a nice getaway in Athens.
