Location and the views are beautifull. My husband and I were at the Spa and we had an absolute perfect body scrub given by Fay. The room had a balcony and was a bit small. Same as the bathroom. But it was sufficient and furthermore comfortable.

A lovely stay at this hotel. Our view was out onto apartments which was not so pretty to look at. All else nice. Restaurant location perfect, food excellent and staff attentive. The hotel is in a nice location but far from most attractions.

We stayed at the St George for the first couple nights of our honeymoon in Greece and had a WONDERFUL stay. My husband contacted them ahead with a few questions about travel from the airport and in the course of conversation mentioned it was our honeymoon and they surprised us with champagne and a sweet note when we checked in....

I had an excellent experience in the spa with an Ancient Greek Massage. The staff was very kind and very experienced. They welcome you with a beverage followed by time in the steam room, shower and a wonderful massage. Highly Recommended. Thank you Christina :)

We stayed in 2 different pairs of rooms on successive weekends. Each had a great view of the Acropolis but both were dated and tatty, especially the second. The bathrooms all leaked somewhere and were not particularly well arranged, with towels hung almost out of reach above a bidet. The rooms were not spacious, mostly because they were filled with...

The location of the hotel is good and the view is fantastic from the terrace. It is a nice walk to the old town (the weather was 20-22 degrees when we where there). Breakfast was okay, not fantastic, but they have a really nice spa area. Sadly when we were there, the pool was not working- for all of the...

Love this hotel!! Please try the Spa and massage treatment, it was fabulous! Do make sure to take a room with a view to the Acropolis. If not, you will have a totally different experience. The rooms are spacious, clean etc. but the view is just magnificent. The hotel is located in a very nice and calm area with lots...

Everything was wonderful. Loved the restaurant and the view of the city. Food was presented beautifully. The front desk was very accommodating and everyone had a smile and was eager to help. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

We had a room with a lovely view - but with the smell of many smokers past - the hotel clearly tried to mask the odor with some form of inexpensive apple scented chemical spray, however this did not work. Sleeping was almost impossible, the mattress on the bed was thin and old and we could feel the springs in...

We had an interior facing room, no view but also no street noise. Room has an extra door separating the bed area from the hall so guest noise was also mimimal. The room was large and comfortable (king bed). The bed , pillows and linens were excellent. A great sleep after a long day of traveling. The breakfast was reasonable;...

Staying in Kolonaki / Lykavittos

Neighbourhood Profile
Kolonaki / Lykavittos
By far the ritziest neighbourhood in town, Kolonaki is home to most of the chic boutiques and designer label stores. Here, the wealthy say no to austerity by dressing in their finest and spending hours in the trendy cafés around Kolonaki Square, sipping the most expensive coffee in Europe. The area also contains a couple of notable museums and cultural institutions, which add to the air of nobility. The leafy upper reaches of Kolonaki transition into Lykavittos Hill, the highest point in central Athens. Climb the paths through its wooded slopes to the tiny chapel at the top, from where you are rewarded with stunning views across the Acropolis to the sea and even the mountains of the Peloponnese on a clear day. The wooden amphitheater up here hosts regular concerts during the summer.
