The room, the view, the service, and the roof-top restaurant were all wonderful. We booked the panorama room which provided an amazing view of Zeus's Temple across the road. I have never experienced such an exceptional level of sound proofing on windows before. Three levels of glass kept out all street noise, and the motorized shade allowed us to be...

We stayed at the Royal Olympic for a total of 5 nights over July and August. The hotel is very well situated, only about a 6 or 7 minute walk over to the plaka and Acropolis, which was quite convenient. The entry and common spaces are quite grand and lovely, and my kids appreciated the outdoor pool which was open...

Wonderful location near the Akropolis. Wonderful views from the restaurant where you have breakfast. It is an old hotel and the public areas are nice but the rooms are ugly and smell old and musty. We stayed twice here and although we stayed in different rooms nothing change. I think it was a 4 or 5 star hotel but i...

Wonderful central location in Athens and wonderful restaurant views at the top of the hotel. Guest service throughout the hotel was not very friendly. Would not stay again because of guest service. Restaurant on top has excellent views but service we encountered was rude.

First floor room (second floor in American) was well-appointed and large. 158 and 159 - views onto the road, not of the historic sites or pool. Pleasant, welcoming staff. Grand decor. Slightly aged, but still very nice.

We stayed here for 2 nights but not consecutively as we went on a cruise in between. We were here on the evenings of 13 Aug and 17 Aug 2015 and we paid US$116 for a twin room including breakfast. The room we had on our second evening was nicer because the bathroom was more modern. The beds are very...

We were assigned a room with no window. After protesting we were told that we should have known that this "special offer" was for an inside room. That was not our understanding when we booked and in any case I would never expect a 5-star hotel to have windowless rooms (in fact ours had FAKE window with an artificial light...

Well located.Walking distance to all the major sites. If you want a view you will need to get a junior suite. The restaurant has views over the acropolis and the city and makes the stay memorable. Breakfast there was chaotic at 10.30 on a Saturday morning.Staff were struggling. Kids enjoyed the pool. 3.5m at the deep end. It was busy...

Reception is always busy; when ask for an iron they said no. Not helpful. Cannot be bothered. Will not come back. Have already cancelled next stay. The pool is too crowded. The restaurant has good views but that's about it. The food and cocktails were awlful. Best bet is to have a standard beer at the restaurant as the service...
