I just got back from Greece & during that time I stayed in 3 different hotels in Athens. I must say this hotel has the best location. It is right across from the plaka/square that is the path up to the Acropolis. The bar/restaurant has...More
We had a 2 night stay in September on our way to the Greek Islands and another 1 night on the way back. The hotel was an excellent choice for our short stays in Athens. The room was very clean and quiet [ considering the...More
The cocktails me and my friends ordered were perfect! The service was brilliant, although a bit slow and the view of the acropolis from the terrace breathtaking. Can't wait to go back this month! if you are visiting Athens you can't miss going for a...More
We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of October. We caught the metro from Athens airport direct to Monastiraki station (a 45 minute tube ride), and the hotel was practically right outside the metro station - it couldn't have been easier. It is...More
Great place to stay in Athens. The area is perfect for walking around shopping and the rooftop bar is great! Grab a drink and snack and enjoy! My room was spacious as well. Staff was nice. Room was clean

Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of
Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.

You had better email the hotel for this concern but normally the hotels in Greece are very helpful and hospitable to their guests so I do not think there should be any problem leaving your belongings with the hotel provided that you'll be back staying with them again after your trip to the island.

Yes, tube/metro/underground (call it what you will) runs directly from the airport to outside the hotel (Monastiraki) and takes 40 minutes. The hardest part is finding the ticket office (which only takes cash) and the metro platform (as there are local trains there as well) in the airport!!
