My stay at the Golden Age Hotel of Athens was the best that I have had! With everyone afraid of the Covid-19 pandemic, this hotel really took every step to ensure full compliance and created a safe space that allowed me to enjoy my stay. The hotel was renovated last year and is stunning! They have thought of everything from having the best showers (nothing better than a giant shower head with great water pressure) to the USB ports, it's all about the special touches. The professional and warm encounters with all the staff as well as the excellent service, made my stay as a solo traveller that much better. I would highly recommend this boutique hotel, which is walking distance from the station (+-5mins), has the cutest park and coffee shop across the street, and is perfectly located right in the centre of town.

Overall the hotel was excellent even during the exceptional circumstances of Covid-19. Easy access t the centre by metro and ideally positioned for the airport. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful particularly at breakfast.

It was really satisfying to stay in the Golden Age. Breakfast is good, gym is just enough, the room is comfortable and the bathroom is perfect. The location is really good, the metro station is some five minutes walk, Lycabettus Hill is just thirty minutes walk and there is a fantastic panorama of Athens.

booked a junior suite which was very nice modern design with all the facilities for a 4 star hotel. the bathroom though was very small for a suite with old fashion tiles and bath. the location is convenient only a minute walk from metro station megaro mousikis. Breakfast was average negative that vegetable were not fresh and they only serve filter coffee
