We found the location excellent with the Metro, hop on hop off buses and a taxi rank immediately outside and once we found our way around the walk to the foot of Acropolis and the Plaka district took around 20-25 mins - the view from the rooftop pool bar and restaurant is stunning with beautiful sunsets and the service from...

Very nice hotel with new refurbished rooms and an excellent view of Acropolis from the roof garden. There is also a nice swimming pool to cool down in the hot summer days of Athens. The cafe on the roof garden is excellent with great food and drings in a very affordable price. Very nice hotel!!!

I thought this was very good hotel, staff very friendly and room was very clean. Breakfast good , hotel is near to city centre, we enjoy walking so no probs but taxi outside and cheap to centre 5euro. Only problem was lifts both broke down different times.

We enjoyed two nights in the Stanley hotel, despite the run-down looking nearby area, once inside everything is very high quality, greeted immediately and treated to a free upgraded room and upgraded breakfast (which was absolutely outstanding, especially for fresh orange juice lovers!) Great roof-top bar/restaurant overlooking the Acropolis and a perfect place to stay for hitting the attractions via...

The staff was nice and helpful, and the location was great, but that's about it. The sheets had a terrible smell of cigarette smoke (I asked them to replace, which they did, or at least I think they did... for another ones with the same exact stench). I also found a few red spots on the sheets (that looked like...

Traditional old hotel, kind and friendly people working, great view from the roof to Acropolis. Standard room was, well standard. By WiFi, maybe they were talking about some Fifi the dog, allthough connection was poor. Double bed was not double, just two separated bed put together. Cheap!

I wouldn't recommend for anyone to stay at this hotel. First of all, it's located in loud and unsafe neighborhood, that as the receptionist said, should be not walked to at evening time. It's quite far from all the visited places (even though they claim that it's located in center). Second- elevators in here are really slow and not working...

Very noisy, clean, basic, good breakfast, right next to metro/tube station and only Euro 4-5 taxi ride from centre, aircon blowing some cool air but not cooling down room, noise from both busy traffic and neighbouring rooms a real problem

They were kind enough to reply to our mails and explained the location of the hotel perfectly for us to reach in metro. It is right across Metaxourgeio metro station. Thing I didn't like about the hotel - small room with no view.

Stayed three nights here. Two is standard room- which is large and clean, but very dated. Last evening received upgraded room. Worth the added cost. Ask for a room that faces the square not the side street. The side is extremely noisy all night. The staff was friendly at all times. There is a beautiful view of the Acropolis from...
