The location of the hotel is good, very near to Syntagma Square with lots of nice shopping around and quite close to bus stops and the metro. The room was quite average with everything you might need for a short stay. The breakfast room has a brilliant view of the Acropolis.

Room 113. I can't believe i booked this nasty hotel. Carpet is stained and gross and old. Wallpaper is peeling off walls. Ceilings are stained. It smells. The bed spread is 30 years old stained and torn. Gross. The"refrigerator" was on the floor. Looks like the type of place you'd expect to see bugs, luckily we didn't. I am disappointed...

This is a great hotel because it is located right in the centre of Athens, with the most magnificent view of Acropolis. We were there for 3 nights, stayed on the 8th floor and the reception helped us a lot to plan our visit.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 nights in January 2017. Good price per night with breakfast for a double room. Breakfast needs upgrade. Also although the rooms are renovated a certain smell was distinctive in the room. I think they must have problem with the sewerage. Good location. 1 minute walk from Ermou the central shopping road and Sintagma.

The booking was done by friends for a 3-day break. The hotel is very close to Syntagma square and the main shopping street (center of Athens) of Ermou, and like most hotels in the area, it offers a nice view of Acropolis from the top floors. But that's it! Even though the staff were friendly, the room was less than...

Excellent location in the heart of Athens city, 5 minutes walk to Syntagma metro station, the shopping center and Monastiraki. The view from the7th floor is amazing! From the Parthenon, to the Parliament building and Faliron you can see almost the whole of Athens. The reception staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast assortment needs some improvement. Also in some...

My husband stayed here for 4 nights. The location and view from the hotel were wonderful. The hotel itself is very pleasant to stay with helpful workers in the reception. The accessories in the bathroom need to be improved. Other than that he was very satisfied with the room. The breakfast was good and he had no complaints. Choose a...

Very close to Syntagma Square to get the bus for the airport, taxis and near Plaka , Monasteraki and the busy Ermou pedestrian street with all the shops and cafes. The reception very...

Staying in Syntagma

Neighbourhood Profile
Syntagma
Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents, bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
