Staff was great. They were very courteous and helpful. The hotel is old and desperately needs updating. The location is very convenient to Syndagma Square and easily accessible by taxi to other sites (Plaka, etc.). The morning breakfast buffet was okay but the buffet set...More
Nice ordinary hotel in the middle of Athens. Needs a renovation. Near Akropolis, shops and Syntagma. Small rooms so rent a double. Wonderful view of Akropolis from the breakfast. Nice staff. I will stay here again.
This is a hotel with good value for money for travelers. No go for business visitors. Very simple rooms. Not very clean and shabby place. However, the hotel features the great restaurant with a view directly towards Acropolis.

An old hotel, not maintained, peeling wallpaper, dirty carpets and even electric cupboard bare. Gets one star just because of the view from the roof to the Acropolis and the friendly stuff. i would no recommend this hotel to my friends

Perhaps the best place to get your bearings is Syntagma Square, crowned by the imposing Parliament building on its upper side and surrounded by other large structures, such as the exclusive Hotel Grande Bretagne. The grand avenues that lead towards Omonia are also full of massive Neoclassical edifices like the Numismatic Museum and those around smaller Platia Kolokotroni. Here you will find lots of travel agents,
bookshops and fashion shops, especially on Ermou Street. Just south of Syntagma Square, you can take a breather in the lush National Gardens, which extend into the grounds of the Zappeio palace and beyond to the ancient Temple of Olympian Zeus.
