Fantastic location, so close to metro and acropolis. Breakfast was fab especially the pure orange juice! Really nice rooms. Overall great value for money. Lady on reception was friendly and helpful too.
Stayed here for 1 night in June and another night in July 2017. On both occasions I was very impressed with the rooms. It looks like they have all been renovated recently so they are modern, clean and everything works well especially the air conditioning....More
If you want a well priced hotel to explore the city then the Adrian is perfect. Located on a bustling street in the centre of plaka within easy reach of all attractions. Lovely roof terrace for breakfast too.
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.

We actually took the train from the airport to the station that is about 3-4 blocks away from the hotel. It took about 50 mins to to get there which around the same amount of time by taxi. As for cost it's €8/person to take the train and I am sure for the cost for a taxi would be more expensive. It also depends on the amount of luggage you have too.
