I stood at the Hotel from 8-10 October, but wanted to stay much longer! I will not repeat what the positive voices already have posted. I was TOTALLY satisfied with the Hotel, it`s staff AND it`s location. If you come from other world-cities, you will be not at all surprised that there are some "stange-looking" people around. But the is...

23 year old female traveling by myself, I was nervous after hearing about the location. I was fine, never had any issues, and I realized I had nothing to worry about. I would stay here again. That being said, I understand if another traveler in the same demographics would want to avoid this area. The hotel itself is great, especially...

The hotel was lovely, however the area is not the greatest. We were very dubious as we came in late at night and didn't feel comfortable walking around with our bags. The room was clean and tidy and the people at the front desk were very friendly. The location of the hotel is very close to everything... about 30 mins...

Stayed at Evripides for 2 nights. I arrived by Metro at Monastiraki station and decided to walk but wasnt given the best directions, i eventually hopped in a cab. Yes the location doesnt seem nice, especially at night but during the day you will feel very safe. The staff were helpful in telling us which way to walk to avoid...

We stayed here as a family of 5 (one double + one triple room) for 5 nights at less than $150CAD per night. Compared to Plaka and Syntagma hotels I've stayed at, Evripides was quiet. I booked based on the TripAdvisor reviews, as I knew the Psyrri neighbourhood and felt we'd survive. We did; we thrived. Yes there are marginalised...

The hotel had everything we needed for a short 2 night stay in athens doing the usual sightseeing and having a couple of good nights out. 5' walk from monastiraki and 15' from akropolis, metro station 5' away, bars, restaurants and fast food places all around. Didn't need any transport. Don't be put off by the grafiti in the area...

The hotel is perfectly located near Monastirakis square, Gazi, and all major attractions. I bought a bike and was able to move around Athens & Pireaus with no problem (people are very respectful of bikes). The staff is brilliant, they give you sound advice, the one locals use. Everything is cleaned every day. My room (medium size, hot water all...

A lot of historical locations are in the walking distance, this means we could save time and enjoyed watching sites of city. We also enjoyed watching Parthenon from the hotel veranda anytime, day and night. The staff was very trained and helpful as well as kind, they do know well what is the service. Taking the above into concideration, as...

The hotel is a short walk from Monastaraki Station as explained by other reviewers, and has all the other benefits that have been mentioned. The area may look a little seedy, but there was never any feeling of danger. AND what could be better than eating your breakfast or having an evening drink with a fabulous view of the Acropolis...
