Stayed as part of a tour. Nice size room. Clean and comfortable. Had a small balcony. Walkable to Hadrian Arch and Acropolis and surrounding neighborhoods. Plenty of restaurants. Friendly staff who lived in the States for awhile. Restaurant on the roof has a view of the Acropolis. Subway stop, SYYGROU-FIX is a 5 minute walk. Small elevators. Nice breakfast spread.

Its a great location, only 15 minutes walking to the Acropolis and main shopping area. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I ate several times at their roof top restaurant. The food was delicious with a magnificent view of the Acropolis, especially at night.

We had a great stay at the Athenian Callirhoe Exclusive hotel! The hotel was pretty close to the Acropolis Museum, the Plaja, and Syntagma Square, where the Parliament House is. Breakfast was very good with a large variety and the staff were very nice. We initially had issues with our room (#505) so we moved to a different room (#615), where the internet worked well. Lucky for us, this was actually an upgrade to an executive room and the extra space was great! We had a sliver of a view of the Acropolis from our room and a nice view from the roof top restaurant. We highly recommend the restaurant’s fried feta with tomato marmalade, it was fabulous!

The location is great and the staff here is excellent. They went out of the way to make our friends and us feel at home, even allowing us to find an out of the way place to play cards and offering us refreshments although that area was closed while we played. I accidentally left items in the room when we left and they put them away for safekeeping until I returned to Athens. The negative was the plumbing. We stayed in two different rooms at this hotel on this trip and there were plumbing problems in both. You couldn't let water out of the tub or it would bubble up through the floor drain and flood the floor. In the first room we had, there was evidence it had flooded the entire room and buckled the floor.

This hotel largely accommodates tour groups. It's within walking distance to the Plaka district (about 0.7 mile) and Acropolis Museum. Request a room with a balcony. Room includes coffee/tea maker and air-conditioning. Elevator is tiny. The breakfast buffet is adequate with eggs, breakfast meats, breads, fruit, and cereal. You have to make your own orange juice using a juicer. There's a restaurant on the 8th floor where the tour group had an osso buco dinner on the first night. Fee to use the lobby computer and printer (3 euros for 30 minutes).
