The room had no lockers or safes and when I needed to use the toilet or shower I had to put my keycard OUTSIDE the toilet or shower so the lights would turn on which made me feel very unsafe. The hotel is in a suspicious area and there was a lot of noise and it was hard to sleep....

Very bad experience with these guys. I booked a room through booking.com with zero-refund policy. After this i got repeated emails saying my debit card wasn't working. I entered a second debit card - I got the same email. I phoned them the morning of my flight - they tried both cards, telling me that neither worked. However both cards...

Despite its useful and central location I would stay far away from this place. We quickly discovered bed bugs in our room and we're begrudgingly switched to another room (without the private bathroom paid for) and sadly didn't discover bed bugs there until morning after we had already spent the night. We spent more than the room cost to clean...

Firstly, the neighbourhood is shady even though is relatively close to the Monastiraki area; especially during the night. Secondly, the staff wasn't very kind, looking rather bored, giving us little information about the hotel. The interior door of the elevator was missing, making us uncomfortable and frankly, scared. The room was clean, but the AC wasn't working and it was...

To say that this Hotel is in a good neighbourhood would be similar to saying that "jack and Jill" is the greatest piece of cinematography Al Pacino has participated in. To be fair ... the bed was comfortable and the shower clean, and plenty of towels provided. However I did not have one decent or even mediocre night sleep at...

The staff here are fantastic and very helpful. The rooms are small and relatively clean. The neighbourhood is very colorful and loud in the day. I'm pretty sure I saw some guys selling stolen phones to eachother lol. I didn't feel unsafe at all though. Men look at you and cat call you, but there hasn't been more than that....

The Sparta team hotel is found right in the middle of the city, which is very convenient for navigating from. It's close to all the best history sites in Athens, and the local markets. It is very basic, but for what you pay it is tremendous value for money. The hotel itself is clean and well staffed never once did I go...

Ok so upon arrival I realised that this was a very colourful hotel in a colourful area. I looked it up on TripAdvisor and began to worry. I neglected to mention all that I read to my partner (who is a bit precious) as I knew she'd worry and I kept I very close eye on the people we walked...

DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL, IF YOU DON'T WANNA BE INFESTED BY BEDBUGS! Luckily we saw them right when we entered our room. We catched one in a glass and showed it to the receptionist, who gave us a new room - which also was contiminated! So we decided to leave, although it was after midnight - fortunately a friend...
