HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We stayed here intermittently throughout our tour of Greece, and although this isn't a luxury hotel, it has all the amenities you need in a great location, and the customer service was superb! Everyone we interacted with was friendly and helpful. We left early on a few days for tours, and they went out of their way to accomodate us,...

Our group of 11 stayed here for 7 nights. The staff was always friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfy beds. The rooms were typical European size and some showers/bathtubs quite small. Room 305 had a wonderful view of the Acropolis from the balcony. The highlight was definitely the BREAKFAST! So many fruit, juice, bread , cheese , options as...

And of course the breakfast is one of the best ones we have had. The location is pretty good, close to subway terminal in Omonia. So you can walk to...

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the place was nice. Our room had a few problems however: the door to the balcony didn't shut properly, so the room was very noisy at night; also the toilet flush was sporadic and didn't work most of the time. The gym was absolutely minimal, and didn't seem intended for actual use. Breakfast was...

I stayed here for just under a week for work. The staff are very friendly and speak multiple languages. The rooftop bar is worth a visit for its spectacular views, even if it is expensive for the area. The lifts are small and the downside was there were mosquitoes in my room which liked biting me in the night. This...

Staying in Omonia

Neighbourhood Profile
Omonia
Omonia Square is as plain in appearance as Syntagma is grand. Surrounded largely by functional blocks from the 1950s and 60s and no longer boasting its underground stalls, the square is now mostly frequented by immigrants and bargain shoppers. The most rewarding area to explore is to the south. Set off down Athinas Street, with the Acropolis gradually coming into focus in the distance, and you will get a sense of old commercial Athens, especially at the picturesque meat, fish and vegetable markets some way beyond the City Hall. The blocks to the west of Athinas are home to many Chinese and South Asian traders, adding a multicultural atmosphere to what was until the late 1990s a very homogenous society.
