You need a quiet room, You need to sleep well during the night and wake up fresh? If so, Then this is not the Htl 4 you. The Htl. is quiet noisy especially during the night. But the size of the rooms are much much better than the average 3,4,5 star Htls. with a bit small bathrooms. If you wish...

Wonderful location. Close to so many attractions, and public transportation access (including to the airport) is less than five minutes away by foot. The staff was especially helpful. The WiFi was weak sometimes, but there are computers and a printer available to guests in the lobby. Rooms on lower floors can be a bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights.

This quaint hotel was very welcoming and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and great for a family. Neighbouring area felt safe even at night with lots of cheap eats surrounding the hotel. During the day it was easy to walk to the markets would definitely stay again on a return trip to Athens very enjoyable

Hotel Omiros is located in the city center of Athens with amazing view to Akropolis. Rooms are very comfortable, tiny bathroom is convienient and cosy. I was surprised by delicious breakfast (greek yoghurt the best on the planet!). Hotel staff very kind and helpful. With all these good things hotel is realy cheap.

The Omiros Hotel is perfectly located in some 300 m walk from Syntagma Square. The main city landmarks (the Acropolis, Hadrian’s Library, Ancient Agora and Roman Agora) are within walking distance. Hotel staff is exceptionally friendly, and everybody with whom I communicated spoke good English. Free Internet is available in the lobby. My room (108) was small, but comfortable and...

I stayed at this Hotel in June with my partner and I'm totally satisfied by the kindness of all the member at the front desk and the chambermaids! All so friendly and always smiling! Rooms are clean and big enough, they kindly changed us the room on the second day and gave us the one with the view of the...

Short and sweet. Excellent location and great staff. The room was very spartan and a bit of a time warp. Ideal for getting the head down but not much more than that. More for travellers and couples looking for a place to crash while taking in what Athens has to offer. I would use again for the location alone.

This hotel is just 5 minutes walk from Syntagma Square and the Plaka district. Thus it is a perfect location to explore the city. Also, the hotel is not expensive and free wifi is offered. Service at reception desk is friendly and cordial. Room is small with basic amneities, and breakfast is minimal. Nonetheless, you can't pretend more for the...

We chose this hotel because of the location and its true, for the price its the best deal going with regards to how close you are to everything. It is a bit basic but we didn't plan to stay long in the hotel. Breakfast - basic but adequate. The staff were friendly but we were a bit annoyed as one...

We stayed between 2-5 of June 2016. The hotel have a great location, just a few minutes to Plaka, Monastiraki, Syntagma, National Gardens, Acropolis, etc. The breakfast was ok, the room was clean, also the bathroom and bed linens. The staff is very friendly and helpful, specially Mr.Alex who offer to my child fresh apricots. At the reception there is...

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
