Great holiday in Chania, at Anemones Rooms. situated on picturesque, safe, quiet, old town, pedestrian little street (Theofanus), close to everything - restaurants, shops, farmers' market, museums, venetian harbour, beach, bus station, parking etc. Amazing Cretan hospitality from the owners, Nassos, Eva and George. Spotlessly clean, reasonably priced, comfortable, ensuite double room with safe, fridge and kettle. Efharisto poli!

Eva the owner couldn't have been more accommodating however the room I was given was smaller than my bedroom at home and was situated behind the reception area on the main floor. Single rooms on Greece are generally small and tucked away somewhere there is some extra space but this room was noteworthy. I have stayed in Chania on many...

Location was perfect on a quite street with no traffic bars or cafes in the middle of the old town, only a couple of minutes walk to everything Chania has to offer. The family were very friendly and helpful with offers of raki and fruit. Cleanliness was top and we loved the traditional style. Wifi was sometimes a little slow...

best location in the old city, walking-distance from a free parking area. small, friendly, family-ran place. clean rooms, hot water shower. nothing special in the rooms but great place to start your tour in the city.

Whenever I travel through Chania, I stop here for a night or two. The rooms are basic but very clean, the owners nice and the location is fantastic! In a small street in the old town, 20 steps from the port, yet preety quiet. Definately worth a try.

We were warmly greeted by the owner when we arrived. She offered us some candied fruit and a glass of water. Then we discovered our room (the 1st one we had)... The room was terrible. Seriously terrible. It was small (we couldn't move around very well once we had opened our 2 luggages) and the "best" part was the "window"....

As a lone female traveller I felt very safe staying at Anemones Apartments. The room was very comfortable and I was lucky enough to be given a veranda. The location couldnt be more perfect only yards from the Old Venetian Harbour. I would highly recommend this place. Chania is a perfect place to explore Crete from if you have no...

“Top fllor room has a balcony with a side sea view. Rooms on the street side have best breeze on a hot day. Stairs are very steep but have good hand rails.”

“do not take room n°23 (room without a window), or even on the 1st floor. Ask for the top room (2nd floor) which has a balcony and seems to be wonderful (and you won't hear the people above moving around all night, or have all of the light of the street light shine into your face all night long.”
