One place! One desire! One atmosphere! In the old Port of Chania, in the center of the Old city of Chania, on the historical island of Crete, you will find the Boutique Hotel Fortino. A beautiful old mansion recently renovated, with respect to its character and architecture, and ready to continue its 450 years history. With a stylish and suave design, elegant and warm decor, Venetian arches, works of art, the Boutique Hotel Fortino is the perfect setting for an unforgettable stay in Chania. Its cozy atmosphere and chic and offbeat interior design make this haven of peace a hotspot of Chania life. Had a wonderful stay at Fortino. The location was absolutely ideal, and the amenities were very nice. The view from the terrace was even better than we imagined, and everything in the apartment was super comfortable. The staff was warm, friendly, and very helpful. Would highly recommend!

This is not a hotel. They are serviced appartments. We arrived for a 2 night stay. We were checked in by the manager who had very kindly come to meet us at the harbour when the taxi we hired from the airport dropped us a 20 minute walk to this... Hotel!! This is the last time we saw a member of staff. We were awakened from our sleep at 8am on both mornings by a cement mixer and a workmen using a hammer who was working on rennovating the building. If you want a quiet peaceful and relaxing place to stay on holiday go elsewhere. I invite the owner to respond to this review, no staff were available during our stay to register a complaint. A text message sent at the time has still not been answered.

A great place, close to the port. Apartment very clean, not big. Very helpful service! I recommend 100%. Very close to pubs and taverns but the night noise does not bother you while you sleep. A mega selection of restaurants nearby

The location is absolutely spot on, an easy taxi ride from the airport. The hotel is a few metres from the Harbour, around the quieter side but still walking distance to the busier side of the town. There is some great restaurants and tavernas within 2 minutes walk. We tried 13 different ones in 10 days and everyone produced tasty food. Christina is a fantastic host, very warm, welcoming and has all the local knowledge you need for a perfect break. Special thanks to her staff who leaves your room fantastically clean, just like the first day. All in a great place to stay.

We absolutely loved this hotel - what a gem! It felt like home only better! Stylishly furnished and decorated, complete with a perfectly supplied small kitchen. In the fridge, we had bottled water, spoon sweets and Cretan raki ready in the fridge. Coffee, loose local tea, and Cretan rusks. A fantastic way of welcoming guests. Our room was on two floors with the living room and kitchen on the first floor, bedroom and bathroom in the loft. Luxury amenities, even slippers! Adorable little private balcony to enjoy at any time. Christina, the owner of the hotel, is very helpful and warm. We are already making plans to come back and stay longer!

Really great boutique hotel in a quiet street minutes from the harbor and from wonderful restaurants. Run by the wonderful Christina who is amazingly helpful. Organized a car, gave us great foodie suggestions, got us an airport taxi and even arranged late check out. Lovely lady.

If you need internet access then definitely this is not your best bet. Internet connection is close to none. In addition bed is doing a lot of noise. Heat also in the down floor is an issue because the aircondition is on the second floor has as a result the hot air to stay high meanwhile you almost freeze on the down floor. In the good points excellent location very clean room and very helpful hostess which is an extra point.

Excellent location, right on Chania 's old port. Easy access to the old town's shops and a parking space 2 mins from the hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated and the owner was very willing to assist us! Great stay!
