We were desperate for a spot with strong wifi where we could do some work and take some video-conference calls, since the wifi at our stay was not reliable. After shopping around Chania for good wifi, we finally reached Vilelmine. The wifi is excellent, with high-speed connection that was stronger and more reliable than the city wifi or any of... More

When i visit Chania I like to stay in teh old town, in order to have easy access and no need of car to all the restaurants and bars and shopping, that are walking distance from the hotel. Vilelmini gives you the feeling of a traditional home with home made breakfast and marmalade, a cozy room that feels like your... More

We stayed for a week, the hotel is very central situated in the square in front of the Cathedral. All places of interest are close by, walking distance. We will definitely be visiting again .The Hotel itself is very special, serving breakfast in the square, the yoghurt 'creation' is simply amazing, something to dream about when you get home.

I really liked the room. It was very cosy. We booked it when there was an offer. And it was a room with two single beds. I asked in the booking for the beds to be joined. Instead they gave us a family room with double and single bed with no extra charge!! The room was very clean especially the... More

We stayed at Vilelmine for two nights. The location is superb, near the main shopping street of Chania. I liked that the building was old/traditional but carefully renovated. The staff was very kind and helpful. One may also enjoy coffee /snacks at the cafe at back of the building, overlooking a magnificent square.

Stayed here for 2 nights, great hotel if you want to be amongst the heart of all the restaurants, shopping and the old port Hosts are lovely and very helpful Great bars near by. Avoid restaurants along the water in port. Food is average with 2020prices and service once you are seated is awful. Beautiful little taverns in the little... More

I came to Chania with my family in April 2016. Antonis and Maria greeted all nine of us with such warmth and fabulous hospitality to their Vilelmine Hotel. The Vilelmine is a family run hotel business which provides a very special, personable touch. The rooms are all quite unique and old world, renovated to perfection, clean with hot water, air con/heating,... More

Stayed one night on our arrival in Chania. I would have given the Hotel a better review as it is a nice old building in a nice location but I'm not too sure that they gave me the room that I actually booked and the cafe/breakfast area that they use in their pictures with the white furniture on booking.com was... Greetings to all TripAdvisor members and travelers. We actually gave the room that the guests booked for (triple room for one night). Furthermore, as per their request message upon their booking was made, we did offer an upgrade (quad top floor suit) upon arrival, but as the room was in an upper floor, the offer was turned down. The one... More
