Helpful and friendly staff. Good position right on the beach. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the old town. Rooms are clean and have fridge, TV, aircon/heating and kettle on request. Quite a substantial buffet breakfast available for a little extra. I stayed 3 days, then went hiking, then returned for another 3.

We stayed at the Danaos for 4 nights and had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The sea view room was excellent and the complimentary breakfast was a bonus. The hotel staff were really friendly and would go out of their way to assist when asked. Only criticism is that the rooms are now dated and could do with a major...

The rooms were clean and a good size, house keeping came in on a daily basis and made the bed and changed towels. I think sheets were changed every two days....

I've stayed in a four-bed room at Danaos Hotel for five days. It is a nice, peaceful hotel with friendly staff. The greatest advantage of the hotel is its location, next to an organised beach and very close to the old harbour in Chania (approximately 15-20 min walk). There are also many restaurants and tavernas near it with great food....

My friend and I have just spent a week at the Danaos Hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The location of the hotel was perfect as it was a stones throw away from the beach and approximately 15 minutes walk to the old town of Chania. The hotel itself was very clean and good...

Have just spent 10 days here and cannot fault this hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Efficiently run and very clean. Breakfast was basic continental but plentiful. Beach staff kept sun beds clean and tidy. Location was perfect right on the beach, about 20 mins walk to harbour along pleasant sea front. Would definitely stay here in the...
