We had a hard time finding the hotel, as nearby shopkeepers pointed us to these quaint small alleys. Because we could not drive up to the entrance, we dragged our carry-on suitcases all over the place. However, once we found it, we were charmed by...More
Charming old style hotel in the old center. Room 14 was not so big but clean, small bathroom with all necessities. As I was on top floor no noise complaints, and as I was on weekdays not to much noise of bars, even though drunk...More

We like the look of this hotel for the first 3 nights of our 3 week stay in Crete next Sept. How many stairs are there to each floor? Want a roomy balcony room or suite with good sea view, but not many stairs. Also, do all sea view rooms have a shower and a bath? Do they offer king size beds?

Hello and thank you for your interest. This hotel is a renovated 13th century building, and as such has 7 rooms at ground level, 9 on the 1st level, and the balance on the 3rd and 4th floors. There is an excellent balcony room on the 1st floor (Room 11) with only 1 set of stairs to contend with, the balcony overlooks the harbor and has a shower and a queen size bed. If you like, there is a suite with no stairs involved (Room 6), also with a fabulous balcony directly on the port with a magnificent 4-poster bed and bath instead of shower. I urge you to contact the hotel directly for more information. Hope this answers your question, and hope to see you soon in person!
