Ideal for a short stay especially on arrival. Despite the compactness of the room it offered all the hotel/motel conveniences including buffet breakfast and the rooftop restaurant with the view of the Acropolis is a must. The staff were also very friendly and amenable!! Would visit again.

The sewer smell walking up the steep stairs to my room was not nice. My room had two single beds. Neither mattress not pillow was pleasant. There was a fridge and wifi that did not work att all when I came back late at night. There is no shower curtain in the bathroom and the facility to hang the shower...

The owner was very helpful and nice, we found the apartments clean and with all the necessary for cooking. The biggest apartment is really worth the extra money, the terrace on the top floor is great, with view on the sea and the White mountains. The street is lively but not noisy. The parking lot is only a 5 mins...

The hotel was nestled in a convenient location that was safe, but a little shabby. Make no mistake, however, the convenience aspect is very strong.  It is situated between two metro stops, is right around the corner from the national bank that is, I am told, the best place to exchange money.  It is very close to the Acropolis. Breakfast:...

Great location in Chania Old Town and excellent value for money. Our studio apartment was clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The best thing about the studio is the balcony and the proximity to everything including the harbour, great restaurants and bars.

Just finished another lovely stay in Chania at Pension Hera. My room was clean and bright as usual and although it was November, heating was provided that worked perfectly. The wireless is free and robust and the location is perfect. Close to the old harbor and to several very fine restaurants, some of which had music, my stay was perfect...

It's a shame we didn't stay longer! Hera hotel in Chania is a beautiful place to stay and the host is wonderful. Right by the harbour, the old port and the old town, the location is perfect for getting to know Chania. We were given recommendations of great places to eat and drink and Hera hotel was the ideal location...

We stayed at Hotel Hera twice in May/June 2013. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and we had the split level apartment with the large private balcony leading from the bedroom. We have stayed in Chania many times in the past, in some lovely rooms, but this one was without a doubt the best. Manousos was a very kind...

I really enjoyed my stay here. My room had a balcony and was right on Theokotopoulou Street with a view of the sea, but it was not noisy. It is close to the beach, although to be honest I never went as I am more of a cafe type. It was lovely and sunny during the day, the beds were...
