Little apartments that surround a wonderful pool in a very small village gives the most peaceful and restful holiday. Whilst the apartments are small, they have everything you need and the furnishings and beddings are of excellent quality. Greeted by the host, who also took us out for a wonderful traditional meal, this really is a gem of a place....

Our apartment had 3 balconies, all with different views, over the pool, the countryside, and with a distant sea view. Beautifully clean, compact but with all you need for a great stay. There is no TV - which we found perfect. The other guests staying had returned for many years, and I think we will too. The apartments are a...

We (2 person couple) stayed in Hotel Orestis for 2 nights in June 2016 and enjoyed our stay very much. There was a pleasant receiption with fresh home-made lemon juice and nice people. Our appartment had 3 stories (the right one on the picture) with a balcony for the entrance and the kitchen and bath on the lower floor. The...

If you're in Chania, or Pano Stalos, Hotel Orestis is a great place to stay. It's a bit of a drive off the highway, about 6 minutes up the hill. The host is a great gentleman! The suites are very well kept, the views, the fresh air, just fabulous. The pool was great too. There's a great restaurant just down...

Hotel orestis is set in the small town of stalos (not a lot in stalos) which has a great bus system. The grounds are beautiful as is the pool. We stayed in the family unit which is a little dated but very comfortable and spacious. The shower was very difficult to manage, was over the bath with nowhere to mount...

Comfortable place if you want to stay away from the crowd. The place offers everything you need, even for spending a full day on the premises. Credits go to owner Platon for what he has achieved. Although it somewhat remote, you find lovely restauarants on a walking distance, also small supermarkets.

My wife and I were Recommended the Orestis Hotel Pana Stalos by a friend who has stayed at the hotel 10 times. Whilst we were there in the first week of October we met a couple from Denmark who had been 13 times before. Their stay this year was for a month. The owner Platon is one of the most...

My wife and I stayed at the Orestis Hotel for a week using it as a base for day trips into the hills and the magnificent western coast of the Chania region. Ano Stalos is a quite village with access to all the roads leading into the mountains. And it has the advantage of having one of the best restaurants...

Great apartments in Pano Stalos. The village is 5 min away from the more crowded area at the beach, and about 15 min from Chania making it a perfect place for a bit more relaxed vacation. The manager Platon is the kindest and most helpful host i've experienced, taking a deep personal interest in his guests and sharing tips for...

My husband and I arrived here last night, after worrying about the news of the Greek economic crisis, and wondering whether to cancel our trip from the USA to Crete. Both in Heraklion and in Chania, everything has been totally calm and easy. We have not had any concerns about money or credit cards. There are no problems for travelers...
