We were at the Selena in July 2014. While not gloomy, there are clearly better places to stay in the area, especially since a car is needed in any case. Concisely and point-wise: The pluses: [] The hotel architecture is nice; the view from the balconies, especially the upper rooms, is stunning. [] The staff is friendly and professional. []...

My husband and I stayed in a two-rooms apartment with three balconies and a wonderful view. Thank you to the owner Ms Mikela who did her best to give us the room we chose from the webpage. Rooms are nicely decorated, air-conditioned with a small sitting area which was very useful to us, as we normally carry a lot more...

Were at this wonderful hotel from 22.07 till 07.29.2014 on their honeymoon and were very pleased! Not a big hotel greeted warmly, carried to the room and handed the keys to the safe and air conditioning (which was unexpected and nice)). In our late check-in the room waiting for dinner! View from the balcony of the sea !!! The room...

Was there for the weekend as it's only 1 hour drive from Heraklion. Had a lovely weekend. Nice & decent rooms, polite staff. The lady at reception (owner) was very friendly. Hotel was not full, which is normal as it only opened for the season, but didn't mind at all as we went out in the tavernas in Plaka (view...

Back from Selena Hotel after spending a short weekend there with my girlfriend for the second time in one year. It’s a quite boutique hotel with very nice views to the famous Spinalonga. Rooms were fine (for what we paid!) and staff very kind. It seems that management has changed but one can see the difference compared to last year:...
