Lies lies and more lies. No Internet at bar very poor. Food at bar is over priced and greasy. The owner maria is very rude especially to children. The walk up the hill is emmencely bad., the hire car wouldn't get up there... the retired owner George is lovely and cleaner was sweet but overall a very terrible experience that...

Tasmania Village is my favourite place on the planet. Once you've visited you cannot help but return,it's got the boomerang effect and this was our third stay. Hannah and Maria who run the place are the perfect hostesses and treat you like family nothing is too much trouble for them. The location is second to none and puts the 5star...

Very friendly staff (Maria great character). Very basic room but has everything you need and very clean. Air con was extra €35 I think and safe boxes also extra. The views are amazing from the pool bar and Elounda just 3km along the road. Buses run every 30hr ish and only €2 to Ag Nickolaos. Very warm in August 34c...

I read the reviews about Tasmania before I went so wasn't expecting an awful lot. Rooms were good we had rooms 24 and 26 and the views were exceptional. It does have steep hill leading up to the rooms but the views are worth the walk. Anna was very welcoming and would do anything to assist. The only one criticism...

We have just returned from a five night stay at Tasmania Village. I honestly don't understand why people complain. The views were spectacular, the apartments were clean and Anna was lovely. Elounda is one of the most beautiful places we have visited and will definitely return. The walk from the apartments to the village is quite a long one but...

What a great place! Yes we knew it was going to be a walk into Elounda and knew it was hilly to the apartments, if you have read the reviews that's exactly what you get. Spectacular views you could just stare at every day, which we did. Anna was a star, she did everything for you and never seemed to...

Thanks to Anna for a love experience, clean accommodation, double bed, amazing views and hospitable service. Could not have wanted more. Pool area quiet and plentiful sun beds, lovely breakfast and high in the hills could see sunrise from our bed with the patio door open.

Great + quiet place to stay for a cheap holiday. Anna the owner couldn't do enough for you. Gorgeous surroundings. Lovely walk into town with plenty of great places to eat and drink at reasonable prices.

What a find. I felt I was staying with family. Tasmania village is approx a 20 mins flat walk to the village(there is also a bus stop right out front). Yes, it does sit on a hill and some mornings it was was a chore to walk up to breakfast- but what a view. I was in a room at...
