I spent two idyllic weeks at Tasmania Village, my third year there. It is amazing. Maria and George who run it are so accommodating and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. They run a Greek barbecue night most weeks and the dancing and food is brilliant. The views from all apartments and poolside is just unbelievable. With Elounda and...

We stayed here in September 2014 and the apartments themselves are clean and well presented. We didn't really spend a lot of the time at the pool and bar as we prefer to travel and explore and Elounda and neighbouring Ayios is perfect for doing that. The reason for the 3 stars is not due to anything except a comment...

We stayed two nights at Tasmania Village in September 2014 and had a very memorable and lovely time. After spending 2 weeks traveling around Crete we decided that one of our favorite stays was at the Tasmania. We surely enjoyed getting to know George and Maria and many of their guests, some who have been coming to the Tasmania for...

Stayed for one week 9-16 September with my husband and 5 month old daughter. We were made to feel like part of the Tasmania Village family Maria and George were amazing hosts and on the barbecue evening we were introduced to their lovely family. My son stayed here also with his girlfriend and the rest of our family party were...

Just back from a week at Tasmania (our first time) and It probably wont be the last! The setting was so beautiful and the views spectacular. We were greeted on arrival at midnight by George who made us very welcome with a much appreciated mug of tea and toast. We were in apartment at the very top and it was...

Just returned from 2 week stay, first time at Tasmania Village - It will not be the last! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home and this encouraged us to be part of things. We are normally, very private people on holiday and probably would not really engage with many other people - Tasmania Village was...

We have just returned from our fourth visit to the Tasmania Village - so it goes without saying that we love this place!! Other commentators have pretty much said it all and the negative remarks are in the minority......green pool, 'clicky clientele' and lack of warm welcome from the owners. I do not recognise any of this stuff. The pool...

Had a great experience staying at Tasmania village for 2 weeks. The owners greeted me and were very helpful, suggesting some places to visit(spinalonga, knossos etc). The room was perfect, very clean, with spectacular views of spinalonga(especially at night with the lights on) and the golf of Elounda. The bar area and pool spoted in the middle of the hotel so...
