We stayed 5 nights at Elounda Peninsula and the service was superb! You need to have reservations at the restaurants as they fill up - so be sure to book a table on arrival for that night as you cannot plan on popping in. The restaurants at Peninsula and the sister hotels are very good. They vary from Panasian to...

We were due to stay here this month but had to cancel at short notice after I broke my wrist and could not fly or drive. The hotel were entitled to charge 50% of the amount we had already paid for our stay, but kindly offered to allow us to use 100% of it against a stay in 2016. With...

From his greeting of us upon our arrival, it quickly became clear that Manos, the hotel manager, sets the high standard of warm, friendly service we found throughout our stay at the Peninsula. Breakfasts served Cretan foods in addition to European Buffet, special evening meals included Fish Night with exceptional local fish dishes. Rooms were two floors and included a...

Arriving at the hotel at around midday, after about an hour's ride from the airport at Heraklion, was indeed an unbeatable experience. We were welcomed by a number of staff members at the door of the reception making us feel like Royals! The hotel offers about 55 smart modern suites, each with a small warm pool over looking the peaceful...

Had a fantastic relaxing week here with the family, wanted to stay longer. Very quiet environment, staff all very friendly and go out of there way to make things perfect. Lots of beds around the pool and near the beach so you don't have to worry. Food in the hotel is great but very expensive, we ate at the Yacht...

A peaceful secluded haven for a very relaxing trip. Accommodation was immaculate and spacious. Beaches were (man made) clean, uncrowded and easily accessible. Local village friendly with good balance of tradition whilst catering for tourism.

We had a very nice family holiday at the Elounda Peninsula. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Only minor points to be mentioned, with all the restaurants that are available, only 2 were open at lunch. The villas need a lifting into 2015 but all was very clean and the staff super nice. Even though Greece is going through difficult...

Dear Guest Thank you for your review and for your very positive comments regarding the hotel, our staff and our accommodation. Regarding your remarks please allow us to clarify that there are 3 restaurants open for lunch, plus the room service. Gourmet restaurants operate only in the evenings, but Calypso, our French Gourmet, serves certain dishes at all times, as...
