Irene is the host and greats you so nice. You absolutely cannot beat this value or the location to night life, buses, port, famous sites, etc. I only planned to stay 1 night but wound up staying 3 more. I am even going to bring my children and come back. The place is very clean and breezy. Showers and toliets...

I did not see the dormitories neither the single rooms, but I use to sleep on the roof almost seeing the stars and the moon, I just can say that was an enjoying experience! The beds were on a terrasse roof which was simply covered by a shape, from your bed you see the the sky and the sea and...

We stayed there one night, before taking the ferry for Santorini. The hostel was very clean, rooms and bathrooms. We didn't spend much time inside the hostel and we didn't use the kitchen or anything else. But from what I've seen, everything seemed great. It is well located, near the city center and maybe a 10 minutes walk from the...

i stayed here and loved the location, the charming old building with comfy sitting areas, the possibility of summer beds on the roof and in particular, the friendly and helpfuladvice of Rena and George. They both had so many good ideas re local fun ...walking the city walls, open air cinemas and my favourite: amazing local concerts of cretan music. whatever...

Contrary to the horror stories in several older reviews, this is NOT a 'nightmarish, dirty, or horrible hostel' Those claims are greatly exaggerated. It's a simple, well maintained hostel. Every time I saw the owner she was cleaning something. I did notice some guests behave like spoilt children and expect others to clean up after them, even though there are...

At £12.50 the youth hostel is what you pay for. We stayed as a group of three in an 8 person female dorm which was spacious considering the number of people. Lockers also included and found within the rooms. Only downside is that there is no A/C so rooms get quite warm at night and that there seems to be...

The hostel is well situated near the port, bus stop and city centre. Easy to get to. At 10 euro a night it is very cheap. It was about 39 degrees the day/night we stayed here which made it very uncomfortable as there are no fans in the rooms. A ceiling fan and a couple of pedestal fans would make...
