My friend and I stayed there for one night at the start of our holiday. We stayed in one of the rooms at the back of the hotel - there is a busy road at the front and we were worried about the noise, although a third member of our party stayed at the front and said there was no...

We stayed here two different times, at the beginning and end of our Cretan holiday. The staff was helpful, the room clean and modern and the convenience good. Our view was of the water and Venetian Fortress--our balcony was fine but there was no seating, which would have been ideal. Breakfast was filling. The in-room safe was handy and the...

We found this a good hotel to stay in, and in the event of a return visit to Heraklion I'd stay there again. The breakfast was fine, the rooms decent, the staff available but not intrusive. The hotel does sit between two roads, so the sea facing rooms and those which look inland do suffer from some traffic noise.

The location next to seafront and close to the centre was perfect. The service was very friendly and the breakfast sufficient. It was extremely windy and cold so we weren't able to use the balcony that much but it was very nice. The wind was causing some troubles as the balcony door was howling all night. Despite the wind and...

My friend and I stayed here for a Saturday in Heraklion. It was off-season so aside from afternoon drinks and dinner, the city was not all that lively - especially later in the evening . It seemed as though everyone was having a dinner party so we did not meet that many people. I'm sure that the city would be...

This was our third time staying at Kronos Hotel and we wouldn't stay anywhere else when visiting Heraklion! The staff are kind and helpful, the location is fantastic, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious! It's the perfect family-run hotel right on the Sea :-)

kronos is located just at the edge of the town center at the seaside. while it is an older building, the room was clean and large. when we arrived, we found the desk clerk to be extremely helpful and patient. she gave us cold bottled water ( the water in heraklion is not drinkable, unlike the water in the rest of...

I arrived in torrential rains, totally soaked through. The staff were welcoming and room cosy. What made it exceptional though, was that after a long day travelling and putting up with the weather conditions, my enquiry about food was met with some croissants, a cheese toastie and coffee - that the owner made himself, not from the cafe. The staff...

The biggest advantage here was the proximity of the property to the sea as well as the town center. This seems to be an old building and the rooms are just average as far as size and comfort are concerned. The bathroom was very small. The biggest problem was the lift which could accommodate hardly three persons or one person...

The Kronos Hotel is worth a visit if you are coming to Knossos. Clean, centrally located, and with a friendly staff, the Kronos is good value for families on a budget. Highly recommended. The one drawback is the breakfast which is not inspired!
