We have just returned from a lovely 10 day holiday in the Ammo’s Suites. We were in the junior suite which met all our needs. It was cleaned daily and it was lovely to have beach towels provided everyday. We woke each morning to a lovely breakfast that set us up for the day. The beach situated directly over the road was amazing and although we never used the pool area it looked lovely. The sunbeds are free for the cost of a drink which was brought to you. A selection of light snacks also available to order and brought to the beach - not to interrupt the sunbathing. The staff all went out of the way to make you feel welcome and Filio the manageress gave us some lovely suggestions of places to eat which were very welcome when there is such a vast array of tavernas to choose from. The accommodation is situated about a 15 minute walk from the old town where there are shops and tavernas to meet everyone’s need. Our favourite taverna was Nostos which is about a 5 minute walk but you may need to book as very popular. Thank you to Filio and all of her team in making our holiday a lovely relaxing one - which was very much needed.…

Lovely location in the centre but not too much that there is too much noise. Nice beach in front of hotel Nice accomodation. Every day towel renewal, bed Made. Great breakfast, very friendly and helpfull staff. Clean enough, Nice bed Only feedback is: it is clean, but with cleaning the Floor en Corners and bathroom aren’t being very much cleaned during the stay. Decoration/looks are great but do not benefit good cleaning Door in bathroom to toilet is not totally closed off, would be nice if it was for your privacy

Filio Toska manages a team of merely 5 members, who all strive to provide a personable approach in their presentation of the Ammos Suites, where after our recent 14 nights stay, we feel relaxed and refreshed. Staying in their Superior Suite Sea View, the accommodation was well presented with all amenities as described, and the team maintained this high standard through proficient housekeeping throughout our stay. Whilst not stating it in the description, we were pleased to find beach towels were provided (changed daily on request) free of charge. The inclusive breakfast, predominantly continental in nature, was provided on the ground floor overlooking the sea. Immaculately clean, the innovative omelettes were surprisingly tasty though the bacon was far from ‘crispy’ (a minor, with the alternative choices being plentiful). Facilities at the Ammos Suites also included a small secluded pool area that seemed pleasant, though we found the dedicated beach area directly opposite (which can be used for a minimum drinks charge) to be the better selection during our stay. Highly recommended for those looking for a friendly and convenient option, perfectly situated close enough to the main areas of town (and old town, within a 15 minutes walk), but without the hustle and bustle. Just had 14 nights at the Ammo's suites in a Deluxe see view room, right on the sea front and only 15 minutes walk to old town. The room was very clean with towels and bedding changed almost daily, we had a lovely balcony with sea view , room also had built in fridge kettle and coffee machine, everything you need, including beach towels ! The breakfast area on the ground floor bar area was open to the view with a gentle breeze in the morning, just right, the choices for breakfast should please everyone. The Ammo's suites hotel is run by a small team of a receptionist, one girl behind the bar, a beach man to look after the hotel beach and bring drinks, the young girl to help you at breakfast /coffee etc and one cleaner who never stops, the team and hotel is run by Filio, an experienced manager who is very helpful. The complete team are always smiling, helpful and friendly and this makes it feel like home, well done Filio and her staff. If you are staying in Crete look no further than the Ammo's suites, you will not find better !!…

We stayed at Ammos Suites for 10 days In August 2022. It is perfectly located, as the beach is just across the street and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to Rethymno's really beautiful old town. Walking just a few minutes from the Hotel, there is a super market nearby and generally, there are plenty of restaurants around the hotel. Additionally, we also booked breakfast, which had a certain variety and always was of good quality and tasted good. We had a suite with view to the sea, which was a free upgrade we received. It was clean and spacious and we were welcomed with a free bottle of water and wine. Especially, we would like to emphasize that all of their staff members, including cleaning lady, waitresses and receptionists were very kind and always took their time for us, when we had a question etc. We felt welcome and comfortable right from the beginning. Go ask the hotel staff for a clue relating good restaurants nearby, they will certainly know, recommend one and even reserve you a table if you like to. We liked the hotel and if we came back to Rethymno again, we would choose it again.…

Amazing service in both the beach and the bar. Really friendly and helpful staff members, very clean rooms and beautiful decorations and design! Also great view especially for the sunset! At last, I recommend the breakfast because it has many delicious and fresh options!!

Stayed here 10 nights with our 17 year old daughter in the superior family suite with sea view (room 203). This had a double balcony and seperate bedroom with sofa bed in main lounge. It was great with views of the sea and sunsets. We booked direct and the hotel manager Filio was excellent in responding to our queries before and throughout our stay. She was always around checking everyone was happy, helping with advice on the resort and even booked us a restaurant at the old port (Knossos restaurant). The whole hotel was spotless throughout. Breakfast was simple and international with a good range of options with eggs and bacon, meats, pastries, fruit etc. Beach opposite is free for residents if you make an order from the hotel bar which was inexpensive. No issues consuming your own food/drink after this if you preferred. Beach towels are provided fresh every day. Sunbeds always available at any time during the day also. Hotel location is superb - beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets on the doorstep and only 20 min stroll into the town. Pool area is nice - it is small and not big enough if you want to swim but sea is on the doorstep. We had a very late flight home and there was a changing area with towels and toiletries provided and an outdoor shower to get changed. Can't fault this hotel - thanks to Filio and her team for a wonderful holiday! …

Travelled alone and visited this great hotel. I felt that welcomed and secure, like I ‘be been at home! The staff friendliness was amazing! I first had a welcome coffee at the front bar , offered by a nice lady and then escorted to my beautiful room with amazing view to the sea! I had such a great time of relaxation and luxury and certainly will come back soon!

We stayed with my husband in July at Ammos Suites. We had chosen the deluxe suite with sea view and we must say that the suite was beautiful, We had a complete sea view and the beach was just in front of us. The hotel offered sunbeds and umbrellas. We had a separate bedroom in our suite which gave us much more sense of space than a normal hotel room. Living room was modern and we had also a fridge in our suite. The bathroom was great with jacuzzi shower and jacuzzi bathtub. The cleaning was made evere day and the towels were changed every day. The hotel offered also beach towels which was a great relief packing our luggage. We enjoyed sitting at the balcony in the evening wearing our bath robes and admiring the sea. We can warmly recommend the holidaya at Ammos Suites and we hope to return there as soon as possible. Breakfast was perfect and the service was great. The hotel manager was very helpful and friendly giving us many advice concerning how to get to know better the surrounding of Rethymon.…
