We went there the first week of June had the best holidays ever! Villa Praxithea is located on the greatest spot of Chalki where you can just wake up, wear your bathing suit and jump into the amazing Greek sea! Decoration that pays tribute to Chalki’s tradition, an “arhontiko” with all the facilities having been attended to the last detail. Beautiful view of the entire harbor town. High wooden ceiling, wooden floors, sophisticated wooden furniture.The house was very well equipped and clean. Totally recommend for relaxing vacations in a wonderful environment for families with children, couples and friends.

Villa Praxithea is located on the greatest spot of Chalki where you can just wake up, wear your bathing suit and jump into the green blue sea! Decoration that pays tribute in Chalki’s tradition, an “arhontiko” with all the facilities having been attended to the last detail. Fantastic view with wide windows looking into the sea and the colorful island. Light, airy, spacious and very welcome atmosphere! Professional, very helpful and smiling staff. The house was very well equipped and clean. Totally recommend for relaxing vacations in a wonderful environment for families with children, couples and friends.

This was our fourth trip to Halki and we chose Praxithea because of the location and enough rooms to accommodate our party. The owner couldn't have been any more helpful even organising the taxis for our transfers. We were met on arrival at the villa by the lovely Rumy who looks after the day to day cleaning, provision of fresh towels etc. even beach towels were there for us. On opening the door into the courtyard we were totally blown away with everything from the decor and facilities to the view and private steps down to the best infinity pool ever. Fantastic accommodation all round.

This is a review about the Upper Flour apartment. It is a spacious, beautiful apartment with three bedrooms. The biggest one faces the Aegean Sea. Is there a better way to begin your day than opening the windows to see the sun rise over Chalki? The living room/kitchen is perfectly equipped for you to cook and spend the hottest part of the day, with the breeze from the many windows breaking some of the heat. The beautiful courtyard is the perfect spot to spend hours looking at the sea, reading, relaxing, drinking coffee or eating a snack under the tree that provides shadow at all times of the day. The space is shared with the guests of another nearby villa. The sea is literally below your feet and its crystal clear waters are the perfect way to cool off. Although there are a few beaches in the island, we couldn’t find anything as beautiful and relaxing as this. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday at a beautiful house right next to the sea, look no further! Come to Chalki and stay at Villa Praxithea! (if I haven’t reserved it already!!) …

The absolute villa on the sea. Excellent decoration with respect to the Dodecanese tradition. All buildings are impeccable. We had the ground floor Praxithea from 15-18 of September. Two couples. We had the whole house to ourselves so one couple had the house and we kept the smaller room next to the kitchen -living room and terrace. Fully equipped room as well. Towels , toiletries, beach towels and everyday visit from Remy completed the pucturez So our window was in front of the water. We jumped from the window and from the terrace n the water. The entrance to the house led to a secluded yard with 2 sun beds. Total privacy. Then turning right was the main building with 3 rooms and to the right was the kitchen-living room. The view from everywhere was breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking. The most impressive in this house is the green door that leads to a stairway to heaven. You open this door and you go down some steps and jump in your almost private sea. The sea is perfect and you swim looking at the village, that colorful village that takes a piece of your heart. We swam and fished there and had an excellent time. After that we had a shower - outdoors with a view. All my showers were there. Never used the house shower. Absolute satisfaction. On day one I had the pleasure of meeting our landlord Manolis. Very friendly person who as he told me is always interested to meet his quests. A very nice acquaintance . For our group is positive that we are going again next year. Value for money!!!!!! Thank you Manolis, Thank you Villa Praxithea See you next year …

Chalki itself (its promenade,restaurants, sea, climate, people), the villa, the view, the furbishing, the owner: no need to repeat what all other reviewers written thoroughly; just marvellous, brilliant, unique. All pictures posted here are fantastic but still nothing like the real thing. The house makes you feel home, the island makes you feel you belong there, sitting under the tamarisk tree of the house day or night, and the few stairs you take down to sea feels like heaven on earth.

Everything about Villa Praxathea was perfect. We visited for two weeks in June. It was the home of the owner's great grandmother and her photo and others with a history of the property are in the apartment. The property has been tastefully restored and it has everything you need with windows that look out to sea from the bedroom and living room. I spent many a night star gazing from the balcony into the clear star , filled skies. It was also a good place to have a Retsina before dinner whilst looking out to sea. There is a small terrace with 2 tables shared by a nearby property in the shade of a beautiful tree. Great for breakfast. There is also direct access to the sea-you just need to walk down a few steps. From there you can swim around the nearby bay. The owner Manolis repies to emails promptly and is so helpful and his house keeper is a gem. Sheets and towels are changed every 3 days and the bins emptied daily. All the tavernas, food shops and bakery are a short walk away. I can't wait to return.…

Starting with Manolis, the owner, I have to say that you could easily be his friend within one hour, even if you don’t see him face to face, but contact him by phone or e-mail. And when you meet him, it’s so obvious that he distributes trust, kindness and graciousness. It was a huge compliment that he met us at Rhodes ferry station and took us to Kamiro Skala by his own car, admirable behaviour. During this short transfer time, we obtained lots of information about the villa, about Halki and we have got many valuable recommendations from him for our one week holiday in the island. Therefore, Villa Praxithea or somewhere else owned or managed by this kind of man could not be faulty. Just like we guessed and imagined, Villa Praxithea is a part of heaven. We, as 3 people, rented the ground floor which is actually proper for 7-8 people. That’s why we have even not used some rooms, it’s so big property. Direct access to sea, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms, satelite TV which probably nobody watches because of marvelous sea view day and night, comfy beds in big spaced rooms and Rumy the gentle assistant lady are some of this rental’s benefits. Villa is located in the best part of the island, regarding swimming opportunity, reaching all the restaurants and shops in minutes and a gorgeously wide view. All these specialties will be our repetitive choice in our next holiday in Halki.…

Villa Praxithea is unique. We stayed in the lower apartments. The rooms were large and furnished with everything you need for a stay. The kitchen is right on the water and affords a beautiful view of the harbour. It was amazing to be able to dive into the clear calm water directly from the confines of the self-contained complex. The owner is a class act and so is Villa Praxithea. Enjoy!

This is a beautiful villa with a spacious and tidy interior. The view from the balcony was superb it encompassed the entire bay, we were able to see far out to sea as well as the opposite side of the town. We had direct access to the sea from the quite patio downstairs.The shops and restaurants are pretty close by and It was very quite and peaceful on a night .Overall I highly recommend Praxithea for a visit to Halki
