This is my 5th time visiting the island of Patmos with my husband. This time we chose Kalderimi for our stay and it was an extraordinary experience! The hostess very polite and helpful even before our arrival. She gave us all info needed, how to access the Studios, where to grab a bite, where to go for drinks, even assist us with renting a car. Our room was fantastic and sparkling clean. The towels and bedding were very soft and smell lavender. I fell in love with the traditional decoration and the spacious balcony with the breathtaking view of Skala.
On our next visit to Patmos, we will definitely stay at Kalderimi and it's the 1st time my husband and I agree on sth 😂
Thank you guys for making my holiday so exceptional!

We stayed in studio Petra for 9 days, and we loved it!
The secluded balcony gives off an era feeling , while the built bed with the little stairs was so so cute!
Cleaning was provided every day, the towels were exceptionally soft (rare for hotels), the housekeeper was always friendly and smiling!
Honestly, we fell in love with the studio, it gave off home vibes!

We hope to come back!

Kalderimi Studios made our trip to Patmos truly unforgettable!
The studios are excellent, beautifully decorated with a lot of character and soul. Waking up here every morning was a treat!
The traditional yet modern style of Kalderimi is amazing, the rooms are fully equipped , sparkling clean and radiate calmness and beauty. They are decorated with attention to the smallest details, with beautiful hints here and there and lovely artworks too. The bathrooms are incredible as well, all natural with stones and copper.
The location is also excellent , between Skala and Chora.
Konstantinos and his family have done an incredible job, and are very helpful and warm, making us feel absolutely welcome and giving us great tips on the island.
I know we will be coming back here - we've never been happier and more excited during a holiday ! Leaving this place behind was hard , we wish we could have stayed longer !
Thank you so much Kalderimi!
Keep up the great work!

A structure of Greek architecture, or rather to be precise a technè typical of the traditions of the island of Patmos, a naturalistic jewel immersed in the Dodecanese. Kalderimi studios is the quintessential artistic contamination of the design of an ancient Greece and a spartan comfort to sail the libertarian spirit of a cultured and cosmopolitan traveler. The exposed rock, the wrought iron of shrewd craftsmen, the local stone that forms the base of the bed, the small blown glass chandelier, a glimpse of uniqueness the environment of the toilet, the basin basin is historiated with grace, the shower without closure just respecting the history of Patmos, the patio overlooking the sea with changing colors and preponderant in the triumph of the Mediterranean daughter of the cradle of civilization of ancient man that is found in the emotions of a modernity rewritten by a grandeur of style in this corner of Paradise. Thank you.

Kalderimi Studios at Patmos Island in Greece is excellent. Best value for money, best location (walking distance between Chora and Skala), fantastic views, cleanliness and room decoration. In addition, the small details that they are not obliged to offer (as self catering studios) but make the difference: Fresh coffee for breakfast, bottled water in the fridge upon arrival, and room amenities. Recommended for complete relaxation.

One of the best places (if not the best!) we have ever stayed in. Very charming studios with lots of character (the photos on http://www.kalderimi-studios.com do reflect reality), beautifully decorated, in a quiet uphill location with stunning views of the Chora/Monastery and of the sea and Skala harbour. Just a five-minute walk to Skala. An extremely kind young lady took care of us, we even found a tasty “welcome cake” in the studio upon arrival. The owners also manage the Anemos music bar, another great place anyone should go to. We would recommend these studios to our best friends and definitely want to go back.

My husband and I stayed at Kalderimi Studios for 5 nights in June 2011. We were well cared for by Lydia who was always available should we have needed any assistance. The studios are a little uphill from the port Skala (about 600m), at the start of the Byzantine path up to St John the Theologian Monastery. If you have difficulty with stairs, then this lovely accommodation may not be for you but we can only say that we loved the view from our large terrace that overlooked the port. Within the accommodation, there are sets of stairs to some studios. On our terrace there was a large table, two lounges and two armchairs and a very handy clothes airer that we could place our washing. Inside our spacious room, was a double bed, extra single divan, little desk with two chairs, a bedside table with a lamp and a little kitchenette and tastefully decorated. The kitchenette was well appointed and there was dishwashing liquid and dishcloths supplied. There were extra little touches like a bottle of water in the fridge on our arrival, a mosquito light, toiletries in the bathroom (the water was hot and plentiful) and a good breakfast that varied most days. The rooms were serviced each day cleanliness a priority. and Lydia was a font of knowledge of where to eat and what to see and very personable. We considered the rate for the studio excellent and with breakfast included and free wifi, it is good value for money. We would strongly recommend these studios to independent travellers.

After we arrived on the very late ferry from Athens, found a taxi and were driven about 5 minutes up the hillside above the town of Skala, we took for the first time a few steps on the Byzantine stone foot path, a “kalderimi,” that was going to be integral to our Easter week on Patmos. Kalderimi Studios is situated adjacent to the path that we ascended each day to Chora and St. John’s Monastery at the top of the hill, and descended into the town of Skala. Then our host Costas led us up a narrow stairway to our studio on the second level where we discovered the next morning that we had the most amazing view from our balcony - up to Chora and the blue Grecian sky, and down to Skala with its aquamarine port. A piece of heaven.
Kalderimi’s décor is simple and tasteful, well suited to the island style and island life. As well as the main room with its twin beds, wardrobe, table and chairs, we had a small kitchen area and a bathroom. Once we figured out the first morning how to shower without spraying the room, we were fine. Overall, we found our studio clean and comfortable. As well as the view from our room, I loved the fresh air and the quiet we experienced at Kalderimi.
Guests can also use the large and comfortable common area also with amazing views of Skala and Chora. Many thanks to Costa who was an outstanding ambassador for Patmos, giving us great advice on restaurants, hikes and Easter activities.
We will treasure our memories of our week on the special island Patmos. Thank you to Trip Advisor for Kalderimi!

We are very pleased with our experience at Kalderimi studios, the room was immaculate clean, very tastefully decorated- traditional style- and very spacious. (we were happy to find out upon arrival that we were upgraded to a bigger room). The view from the room was stunning, overlooking both the picturesque Skala port and the monastery in Chora. The breakfast was delicious and very high quality and the breakfast area was very pleasant and relaxing. The whole place had a great energy and made one feel immediately at ease. Perfect place to relax and enjoy a gorgeous island. Nothing fake and pretentious here. Pure class and authentic Greek hospitality.
