The hotel is situated a short taxi ride (5 euros) from the town. Hotel Chorio is just what you would hope to find in a small hotel in Greece. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was basic but we had a small terrace with table and chairs. The air-conditioning was very quiet and worked well. The breakfast was simple but...

We stayed for three nights and really enjoyed our time in the Chorio Hotel. Kostas took and brought os from and to the harbour, so that we felt welcomed right away. We had a room with a nice little terrace that was just nice , clean, had a fridge and TV. Besides all comforts, the best thing was ne nice...

Have known the hotel for many years - run by Kostas and Tasoula in true Symi fashion. Small and compact, the rooms are simply furnished but spotlessly clean and comfortable. All essentials are on hand - fridge for the gin, air conditioning and good plumbing! If we needed anything we only had to ask and the collection from the boat...

Symi’s numerous attractions are universally recognised - indeed, so much so that the island’s deserved and enduring popularity with the ‘English Speaking Nations’ means that the language’s local usage appears almost as ubiquitous as Greek. However, a treasure perhaps rather less known but certainly not unappreciated is the delightful Chorio Hotel. Starting with the basics, the rooms are traditionally furnished,...

We stayed for 6 days in August. This is a small, clean and comfortable family run hotel. The rooms are basic but charming and have all the essential summer comforts in good working order (shower, air-con, anti-mosquito kit and fridge). Beds were comfortable and nights were quiet (we were never disturbed). The owners are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is...

The owners, Tasoula and Kostas are so friendly and helpful and treat you like family. Getting collected from our ferry was really great too. The hotel is in a great location, at the top of the Kali Strata with its amazing views of the water front. It is well away from the noise and business of the harbour, and has...

I spent a week here at the beginning of September. It was comfortable and clean. The owners were extremely easy going and helpful. It was a lovely place to spend a relaxing week exploring the upper part of old Symi town.

We booked this a 5 days before travelling (in August when Symi is at its busiest) and I booked this for the fact that it had 4-bedded rooms and that the price was not extortionate. We only stayed one night but we slept well, the room was basically furnished and very clean, the kids loved the 2 beds upstairs and...

Chorio Hotel is located near my favourite part of Symi, i.e. away from the tourist dominated port area. It was clean, had good air con and fair internet connection. Breakfast quality was good but with limited choice. Unfortunately it was not quite and, due to a very poor bathroom set up, it was not comfortable. Noise from passing traffic, particularly...
