This hotel needs renovation. The rooms are not what one expects. Also no duvet was there and the bathroom was very very old style. The lifts are most of the times occupied by people who go to the terrace for a coffee.

We enjoyed a great lunch at the roof of Electra Palace. From the 7th floor the view is amazing. No better location to find, just in front of the boulevard. The dishes are outstanding and very kind people who love to offer you great service

It is an hotel in the city center and that is the only positive thing. We were four and we got the exact four rooms at one floor difference. Very small rooms, facing another building, slightly larger than a phone booth. The reception is slow and the valet not friendly as you expect. There is absolutely no parking space therefore...

We had a family, city break here. Short stay but very comfortable and wonderful sea views from the sixth floor. The square is a bit noisy but it quietens down late at night and the windows blocked out the noise anyway. We did need to leave them open for quite a while though as the rooms were very hot on...

This hotel is decent, but is one notch below what you'd expect from a top hotel (and in particular a hotel with top-tier prices). A few minor examples. The spa is not a place to hang out - it's just not that nice. Don't be fooled by the picture of the pool - it is not really for swimming; they've...

We only stayed here for one night so our experience is limited. Overall, it's a nice hotel which is well maintained and the service was friendly and efficient. The location of the hotel is very good, being close to the water as well as a lot of shops, restaurants and sights. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice and great...

If you are looking for a great place for lunch with a stunning view, this hotel has it all! Was on a city tour with the wife and advised by our guide that this hotel has a roof top restaurant that was worth a visit, we decided to take a chance and were not disappointed. Lunch is served from 12.30...

Amazing rooftop restaurant , most people come here to have coffee but the best tables are reserved for those who are eating. the service was good and the food tasty and fairly good prices. If you get here at 12 you can get a nice table. All the restaurants on the harbour front were packed but this place is tucked...

We visited the Roof Garden where I took my mother out for an afternoon treat. The only good thing or 5 star was the view The bar staff are rude, sarcastic and nonattentive. The menus limited and concentrated on coctails and spirits. The tables dirty, cheap looking , ( no table cloths old dirty just wiped wood looking surface) floor...

Hotel is located in the heart of Thessaloniki (Aristoteles square). Our room was facing the sea. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff is very polity. Roof Garden in Electra palace is probably the best place to relax in the area. Prices are good with a beautiful view. Home made lemonade was really good!!!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Majestic: this word is not an overstatement when it comes to the Electra Palace hotel in Thessaloniki. Built in one of the most impressive city squares of Greece, Aristotelous Sq., facing the endless sea of the Thermaikos Gulf, its architecture at once imposing and noble, it is one of the city's architectural gems. Inside the hotel's byzantine-inspired exterior, hides a neoclassical heart: wood paneling, marble inlay and wooden floors, plush carpets, cabriole and chesterfield sofas, ornate furniture, luxurious details, generous amenities and, of course, breathtaking views: on a clear day one can easily see as far as mount Olympus across the gulf. Beneath the Electra Palace Thessaloniki's windows and balconies, lies the lively center of a vibrant city: Aristotelous Square. In between city square and mighty mountain, the expansive horizon, the endless blue of the sea. Right in the heart of city, the Electra Palace Thessaloniki is ideally located whether you are in town for business or pleasure: within walking distance from the shopping district, the Thessaloniki International Exhibition Center, most major monuments, museums and sites, the Ladadika area and right across from Olympion cinema that hosts the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, it is the place to stay when meeting with business partners, attending trade shows, enjoying the city's rich cultural scene or exploring its nightlife. Featuring comfortable, well equipped rooms, indoor and outdoor pools, a gym and spa, a wonderful restaurant on the top floor, and the renowned Electra Hotels and Resorts service, it is also the par excellence place to unwind and relax, enjoying unparalleled views and the hospitality you deserve. ... more   less
