The problem with Minerva Premier Hotel I think is in the expectation, given that is has a four star rating. When you get there you find it is a very old and once beautiful building in need of a lot love and attention!! Even a few basic improvements and maintenance would make a huge difference. That said we stayed for... More

The hotel has a very good position if you want to visit the town, but it's on pubs and discos and it's impossible to sleep if you keep the window open. Air conditioning working, but very noisy. The room good for 4 and was clean, old furniture and old style. Staff nice and available. Good for one night if you... More

Me and my family stayed for 2 nights at the hotel, and our opinion is that the hotel position is really good, worthy for everything around, good breakfast, so is good for value you paid. Yes, old building, but they had made refurbish to improve.

This was an awful hotel stay. We smelled mold as soon as we walked into our room, and the smell never left. It was on the ceiling (which was peeling), and in the bathroom. The toilet barely flushed (the one in the restaurant was broken and/or clogged every time I wanted to use it), and the shower head did not... More

Pros: 1) Very good location, only 5-10 minutes walking to the shopping streets and Aristotelous square. 2) Gives what you paid. 3) Nice wifi. 4) Reception helpful. Cons: 1) The breakfast was poor and terrible. 2) Our room was not quiet enough, because of the clubs next to the hotel and as a result we struggled to sleep. 3) Our... More

Our room was too small. We had a double bed but the blanket was for single one! We asked for towels (because they were supplying us with towels for only one person) and they said that they are not any towels left on the entire hotel, which I find absurd. The guy with the glasses at the reception office is... More

Interested 24hour front desk. Housekeeping A+, really. Feels safe. Fridge. Lift. Good breakfast. But the big advantage to the Minerva is the ability to walk to the fabulous restaurants, sea promenade, city markets. An easy neighborhood navigation when the Minerva is on the Via Ignatia running parallel to the sea and the places of interest are inside this area. Thessaloniki... More

Terrible hotel. Too old. Too dirty. Too small room. Just fine breakfast. Rude staff with no knowledge of the business and not helpful at all .I don't recommend it to anybody. The photographs don't resemble the reality.
