Used as a night stopover after Olympia Bacchus is a really lovely hotel overlooking the mountains with a fabulous taverna. We finally got some non standard Greek food, had the specials which were local specialities, rabbit and rooster and they were amazing, as was their local Gruyere style cheese. Wifi was great too. Highly recommend.

Wonderful family run hotel just outside of Olympia. People were delightful and the room was clean with a great view. The restaurant on the patio with the sun setting over the valley was lovely with good food. The pool is a nive add on a warm day. And only a short drive to the Olympic site, so we had the...

Beautiful hotel in Olympia! The location was outside of Olympia but very close to the archaeological sites of Olympia. The hotel itself is a beautiful stone building with a pool and a covered paito/outdoor dining area that overlooks a canyon. We enjoyed dinner there and had the buffet style breakfast. The hotel staff was very friendly and our waiter for...

Bacchus hotel is a pleasant stay. Room was comfortable, and the hotel feels more like a resort than an overnight. Even has a swimming pool. The restaurant was good, but the view from the dining terrace would make any meal great. Bacchus is anout a ten-minute drive from Ancient Olympus, but not an inconvenience. We preferred the quiet location over...

A wonderful local pension. By its nature and remote location this is not expected to be compared with the extensive amenities of large city hotels but the local in house restaurant was ver good and its owner attentive. The rooms were very clean albeit well used and the view out the back of the countryside and goats was worthwhile.

Hotel Bacchus is a lovely stone building with bougainvillea growing up the side and a lovely swimming pool next to the Taverna. Our room was small as is the bathroom, but we have a nice balcony so can sit outside and enjoy the lovely view of the valley, vineyards and olive groves. We sat by the pool and relaxed before...

As stated by other reviewers - this family run pension is a good base from which to visit Ancient Olympia whilst avoiding the slightly tacky town that serves it. Impressively, Bacchus is signposted from quite some distance away and is very easy to find. Our room was fine, with a little balcony and wonderful rural views at sunset. The en...

This was our favorite hotel in Greece. It is owned and operated by a family and they have built a charming, welcoming and very comfortable hotel where attention has been paid to all the details. A short drive out of Olympia and well worth it. The food was delicious, well priced and more variety than most places. Perfect place to...

We happened to stumble on a Greek wedding during our stay and enjoyed true Greek hospitality. Trying to sleeping with load music that continued until 3:30am was challenging! Thank you for an authentic experience.

We were a family of four who loved this place. It was clean, quaint and had good facilities. The staff were helpful, especially the gentleman who served us at dinner. Food was really good and well priced.
