My husband and I stayed in the Hotel Hydra for 8 nights. It was such a fabulous holiday, Dimos the manager could not have been more helpful, nothing was too much trouble for him. We stayed in room 203, an apartment with a huge living area, a great bedroom with a queen size bed with beautiful white crisp sheets. A... More

What can I say what a wonderful stay. We were there for 8 nights in this wonderful hotel, which was really an apartment as we had a large living area with dining room table and 2 huge cushioned couchs. Add a spectacular bedroom with Egyptian cotton sheets, stacks of cupboard space, a safe and 4 huge windows with spectacular views.... More

My boyfriend and I spent an incredible weekend on Hydra for a friend's wedding and stayed at the immaculate Hotel Hydra. The photos do not do this hotel justice! This is a stunning retreat with the most beautifully styled rooms. We had a beautiful room with its own private patio for the delicious breakfast, which was sublime! The breakfast itself... More

The Hydra hotel was everything I could have hoped for. A beautiful high quality boutique hotel on an amazing island, staffed by friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. The room was amazing, the service was outstanding, the breakfast was sumptuous, the welcome was warm and genuine. Thank you so much Dimos and everyone at the Hydra Hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Hydra Hotel from the 13th to the 15th September 2016. Accommodation We stayed in a “harbour view” room (Room 201). The view from the room was excellent, one window overlooking the harbour and two overlooking the town. The windows were set deeply enough into the walls to sit on the inside window shelf... More

This hotel is in a quiet location. The manager is extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. There are lots of things to do on the island. Restaurants are within easy walking distance.

We arrived mid evening and were met at the harbour by Marios and his donkey who carried our cases - it is a steep climb to the hotel! Katerina and Dimos were there to greet us and they allocated us to a very spacious and comfortable suite. You couldn't have wishes for a warmer welcome. They also arranged a table... More

The attention to detail was wonderful, the views spectacular and well worth the 140 steps, or more if like us you get lost and take a different route every time!!! In June we stayed on the first floor corner apartment and it was beautiful for a friends wedding and I cannot fault the hotel in any way. The attentive owner... More

This was our fourth trip to Hydra, the last being twelve years ago, before the much publicised economic troubles. Luckily for us the Island was still the peaceful haven we had remembered. It's sparkling beauty hits you the moment you disembark from the Cat., sadly no ferry crossing this time (one of the results of the recession maybe?) which we... More

A unique view from the hotel's balcony recompenses for all the stairs needed to be climbed from the port. Luggage must be carried with donkey. We stayed at the room with the balcony. Definitely the best room in town! Comfortable, hosts a couple with a kid. Nice minimal decoration with pale grey tones, clever furniture hides a very cozy kitchen!... More
