Having stayed at the Alkyon for the first time and not knowing what to expect my wife and I have to say we had a really good stay. We were happy with the room we stayed in, it was comfortable and clean . The housekeeping staff came in every day and we had no complaints! The staff were all very...

We were moved to this hotel following one night at our original hotel which was really awful (Hotel Stellina). Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely receptionist called Kiki. This set the tone for the holiday. We felt very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Every member of staff including the cleaning ladies, bar staff, management and reception...

The hotel is in a good location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The cleanliness is very good and the rooms not bad although we asked to move to a different room as we in a room on the lower ground floor initially and it smelt damp. Our next room was better. However, the breakfast buffet is a...

Hotel Alkyon Let me start by saying; another fabulous holiday in Skiathos. Booked this hotel for a second Skiathos holiday this year, the deal was right. Any negatives this hotel may show, are quickly out weighed by the positives. Loved the location & the fact that it is walkable from the airport. All in all, if the price is right,...

We have to agree with all the previous reviews regarding the dungeon/prison/ basement whatever you want to call the RED door area. We were given the end of the block, with approx. 4 foot of scrub land for a balcony, surrounded by a high wall which somebody had lobbed an old plastic sunbed over. We asked for a different room...

There are a lot of plusses for this hotel but unfortunately some negatives as well. We loved the staff and the room was fine. Breakfast was enjoyed on the rooftop overlooking the port confirming its excellent location. We like to spend a few days by the pool but the only days it wasn,t murky was the two before we came...

We had a quick one night stopover here on our way back from Skopelos. We just walked in and were offered a good rate for a sea view room on the 2nd floor. Our opinion was that the hotel was dated to the point that it was once again fashionable - very retro! We hope they don't update it too...
