This is, apparently, a three star hotel, which, I suppose, I do understand, as the bedrooms - particularly those facing the back garden - are somewhat in need of refurbishment, as are the shower room and toilet. The showers are exceedingly small and only have a shower curtain. However, each room has a balcony, which accomodates two chairs and a...

Very friendly staff, clean rooms, every day clean towels. Shower a bit small and dated, but ok. Wonderful pool, quite large. As all the roads on Skopelos, the way up to the hotel was quite steep - so you might keep that in mind :-) Great breakfast with lots to choose from. The chef is looking after everything and everybody...

Skopelos is a lovely port with lots of restaurants and bars and the Dionyssos is ideally situated. It is a steep slope from the town to the hotel, so need to be reasonably fit, but there are a lot of steps and slopes in Skopelos anyway. There are no lifts in the hotel, but not many steps to the rooms....

Have just returned from a week's holiday at the Dionyssos hotel in Skopelos Town. Good location as regards proximity to the restaurants, shops etc but the fairly steep hills up to and around the hotel become very slippery when it has been raining. It's not a problem as long as you take sensible shoes with you and leave the high...

We have been to this hotel 3times and we love it , it has a great location , with walking distance from the port. Reception is very helpful, breakfast is great with good service and humour from bill and yassa. Ruddy is quite a character and has been here for years and he collects your cases from the port and...

The Dionyssos is a traditional Greek family run hotel that is clean and well decorated. The hotel staff are very pleasant and helpful, the hotel is clean and well decorated. The rooms were a good size with a balcony and free air con. Breakfast was always fresh and plenty full with various cooked and continental options. Outside the pool is...

Lovely Hotel, nice big pool, rooms nice but bathroom very small, mattresses was a little hard. Hotel was very close to the harbour a small walk 5-10 minutess away. Where you could find lots of Tavrnas and bars etc. Pool bar prices was a little high, considering you could walk 5 minutes away to a Taverna and get a meal...

Depending on the time of year there are either very few boat tours or quite a few. We have done the trip to Alonissos on the glass bottom boat ( so filthy you couldnt see a thing!) but they tend to drop you off twice at their cousins taverna on a rocky beach wher you have no option but to...

We have visited Skopelos many times over the years and often stay at the Dionyssos, either as independent travelers or go with a holiday company ( Thomsons) depending on the prices. When we were here in July we noticed work going on at a large warehouse type building at the bottom of the lane. It has now opened. It is...

This was a traditional Greek hotel which was spotlessly clean. The pool area was delightful with views over Skopelos harbour. The bedrooms were simple, though the matresses were hard. Air conditioning was free of charge, but the bathroom was very small. It would have been helpful to have had a high hook for the shower, as hand held showers can...
