From the moment you walk thru the doors of Nimb Hotel you know you’re in for a pleasant stay. The staff are gorgeous the small reception area has to be one of the chicest I have ever experienced. Fresh flowers thru ought the property create a beautiful sense of relaxation and charm. The suites are individually designed with classic furnishings,...

We had booked The Nimb for a weekend, but moved out after one night because we couldn't sleep at all - the hotel is located opposite the central station, and the noise level is unbearable ! On top of that the rates are very high, totally expensive and overpriced ! Very disappointing for a five star hotel - stay away...

This is the best hotel in Copenhagen. Excellent location, excellent service and superb standard of rooms. For those who love wine, the vinotek is a must. For those who love food the brasserie offers a wonderful selection. Gluten free options are fantastic. Breakfast will set you up for the day. Well done Nimb, you have got it just right. Thank...

We stayed at the Nimb in February, not realizing that the beautiful castle-like photos are only visible from the Tivoli gardens, which are closed in the winter. So, the entrance we used during our visit was from the street, and was a rather unattractive "falsade" as they say. However, upon entering it is beautifully appointed and the staff is tremendously...

Talk about making our experience a very personal one. Stayed with my daughter and my 93 your old mother in wheelchair for one night in 2 adjoining suites. The hotel and especially Oscar went overboard in making our experience 110%. The customer service, the food and all the wonderful wines were out of this world. If you can afford, the...

This is a comfortable and upscale hotel. Our room was spacious and very well appointed. The restaurant serves fantastic food and we were overlooking Tivoli Gardens. We were here in winter so everything was closed and it was quiet. But it was beautiful covered in snow.

Nimb Hotel is ideally located, the hotel boasts of all the modern amenities set in a historian setting. Loved that they still believe in a lock and key for their rooms. The hotel staff make you feel special from the moment you arrive and all through the stay. Service is just impeccable and so personalized. A must stay in Copenhagen,

This was our first hotel on a 2 week trip to Scandinavia and it started out with a flourish. The hotel is right next to Tivoli Gardens (amusement park). We had a beautiful suite with a view into Tivoli (but did not have any excessive noise--except for the brief evening fireworks). Service was outstanding and the food from the Breakfast...

I am a D'Angellatrre fan. This time I decided to try something different. So I tried Nimb, a boutique hotel. For a boutique hotel it is great. Comparing it to D'Angellatrre is a different story and could not be fare. Location is fantastic. Breakfast is good. Good stakes down there. Room rates are equivalent to D'Angellatrre unless you get a...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
