I have just returned after a four night stay here. I booked through expedia and paid approx £40 extra for a "city view" room. However, although our room was on the 8th floor, it definitely was not a city view, and I was facing out the back of the hotel. The rooms where small but also very clean and modern....

I recently stayed in this hotel with my gf, we both really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean, not very big but perfect if your not going to be spending alot of time in it. Also the shop at reception is so usefull. Location is very good, about 10 minute walk to the main train station and tivoli gardens...

It's small, basic and cheap. But it's also clean, the staff are friendly and the amenities to a high standard. Whilst Wake up Copenhagen doesn't offer any fun extras beyond bathroom soap (yay...) and the comfort could be improved with a few touches of warmth (an extra pillow would have made the world of difference), everything is exactly as advertised....

We only stayed for one night and really enjoyed our stay here. About ten minutes walking from the Central Railway Station in a rather isolated area, so if looking for a meal before arrIving look around the CRS area first. Vast hotel, very modern and really very comfortable stay awaited us. Staff very helpful, Excellent Breakfast. Good price compared with...

It's great to have a room at a higher floor with a view to the Tivoli Hotel ( which is next to Wakeup Copenhagen). During the night colorful lights are turned on which makes the view very nice. On the other side you have the city view but also the train station and depending on which floor you have your...

I have stayed in this hotel a few times. It's clean in in general terms confortable. Small rooms butwhat you need is available. Good for one or two nights. The rooms have one 'problem' it's cold along the windowside espacially at wintertime.

I recently stayed at this Hotel for three nights in early March. The Hotel is a 10-15 minute quiet stroll to the Central Railway Station ( its self only a short run to the Airport). The Hotel is a very modern building in a side street sandwiched between the Railway and the waterfront. It offers small but functional bedrooms with...

Stayed here on business and it was a great hotel. Fairly well located and well maintained. Breakfast was good and varied. Staff were polite. Room was clean albeit a little small, with a very nice circular shower/toilet cubicle. The only downside was that my window opened onto a wall and I didn't have a view but this didn't diminish the...

As a place to sleep and shower, couldn't really ask for anything more. On a city break, we weren't going to be spending much time in the hotel, so we went for something relatively cheap. Basic and clean, nice reception, towels and bedding changed even though we were only there 2 nights. Breakfast was basic - bread, cheese, ham, cereal....

This hotel is immaculately clean, comfortable bed and decent shower, helpful and friendly staff. If you are staying with a partner/friend make sure you're not shy, a sliding door and frosted glass is all that protects your modesty in the bathroom! A 5 minute walk from the shopping centre, a good 20 minute walk to the city centre so I...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
