Everything you need for a great price. Clean and simple. Nice breakfast with plenty of options. Bad coffee though. Location isn't great.....quite a walk to the station and into centre, especially if you have to do it a few times a day.

I stayed here for two nights with a few others on a business trip. The hotel is not particularly central, around 15 mins walk to the city centre. The rooms are very clean and comfortable in a very practical style. Good mattress, and spare duvet and pillow are kept in a drawer underneath the bed. Very warm too. The bathroom...

Cheap and clean in a nice location. Room is small but its okay for a short stay. Bikes are avaliable for around 13 pounds per day for each which is a great option for sightseeing the city as there are bike routes everywhere.

My family of 4 visited Copenhagen and found this to be a very good option. Rooms are only for two, but we were able to get two adjoining rooms. The rooms are quite small, but that usually doesn't bother me - I don;t travel to cities to stay in the room. The beds were quite comfortable. Everything is very new,...

For being in Copenhagen, this is really very cheap when it comes to hotels. The thing is that to have something significantly better, you have to spend so much more. Everything was clean and well functioning. Sure, there isn't a lot of space, hardly any space at all, but did you really expect more with this price? We were 3...

I liked the hotel, the location and the breakfast. There a two things I would like to point out. I have troble sleeping with only one pillow, and I could´n get another from the reception and they couldn´t give me a receit for my employer, because i had mede a net recervation.

Copenhagen is a very expensive city but Wakeup offers a clean comfortable room in a good location for a reasonable price. The rooms are small but perfectly adequate if you are not planning to spend much time in them.

Room had all the Charm, Warmth and Space of a good refrigerator. Really this place was soul destroying! The closet (they call it a room) was so small, when I brought our cases in my wife had to stand on the bed. the place was stuffy but the window (that looked out onto the rail yard) would only open 8cm,...

We paid over $200 for a very small and very white room with a view of the Central Station railroad tracks. It was quite modern and well designed but there was just not enough space to be comfortable. The breakfast room was very nice. Would not stay there again as we did not consider it a good value. We prefer...

A good clean budget hotel. Checked in early and paid more for room upgrade to check in after a long flight it seemed a good idea. There are no restaurants etc. nearby but you can walk to Central Station and district. We walked from Central Station after catching the train to town. there is also a shopping mall about 8...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
