We stayed 1 night there before our cruise. Hotel is very central located, close to Visitor Center, Tivoli, Central Station and City Hall. Hotel is a little in boutique style. Old fashioned, but clean. Diff. price categories, Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast very...More
This is a comfortable old hotel in a great location across the street from Central Station. My room overlooked the street and, with the windows open (necessary in summer), there was some traffic noise. My only minor complaint is that, given the number of devices...More
...however, nice service people who offered an upgrade from a very poor room. No nice ambiance. Carpets, walls etc need refreshment. Old furniture. Smelly hallways (from smokers). Breakfast was ok but didn't feel nice & tidy.

This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and
hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
