We were early and hadn't phoned ahead. The man was understanding and - gave us the suite! Yes, it was our first night on our honeymoon and we loved him! Thank you so much, you are ace! Thanks once again.

I made my reservation through TA abt one hour before and checked in abt 1800. Still the host took time to show me my room, to help with my baggages and explain some of the main attractions of CPH with no hurry. The morning coffee started my day in a nice way and while visiting the town I was allowed... More

Good location. Not where most hotels are, which in a way gives you a better feel of what living there might be like. Bus stop and metro nearby. It's great to have a kitchen to warm up food, keep fruit in the fridge, etc. I was planning to cook but there's great take-out options in the area. The staff was... More

We stayed for a weekend. Large room. Clean if not very fancy. Nice staff. Didn't have much problems with shared bathroms, cause there where two. Not far from the city centre. Huge plus that you can make food in the citchen:)

Rooms were good, location was okay, did not try food there as it was a very short stay but overall served the purpose of staying for a short period shuttling between Sweden and Denmark over a weekend !

We stayed in a double room on the upper floor. The room was very big, with two beds, two couches, and plenty of space - the downside was only one very tiny and inconveniently placed mirror, and not enough electrical outlets. The bathroom was shared, and since the apartments seemed to be full of very loud backpackers while we were... More

Staying in Amager

Neighbourhood Profile
Amager
In the eastern part of this neighbourhood, visitors will discover Amager Strandpark, a beach area which has become increasingly popular. It’s only a 30 minute bicycle ride or a 10 minute Metro trip away from the city center. Only a few hundred yards inland, some of the most creative musicians, artists, and writers in Copenhagen are occupying some of the old storage houses and production facilities. The western part is one of Copenhagen's most rapidly evolving areas, here you’ll find international architecture of the highest rank, the state of the art TV-Byen (the Danish pendant to BBC), a golf course as well as Copenhagen's best (and tiniest) ice bar.
