We paid a lot for a superior room for 3 nights. We were expecting a bigger room (our fault for not checking!) - it turns out that a superior room means you get some crisps & chocolates included, on the first night only. The rooms are small. The double bed was small & felt more like a bed in a...

Upon arrival, I was 'amused' by the minimalist Danish design attempt. However, even though a fantastic location, quite expensive for what you pay for. . . The fact that the bathroom door isn't really a door makes the I-don't-use-curtains-culture-so-everyone-knows-I'm-not-hiding-something weird. Bathroom privacy should be a bit more obligatory than a brushed-off trend for those with class. Otherwise, the rooms were...

While the hotel is pleasant enough, clean and has a nice modern interior with decent enough space and very comfy beds...this doesnt matter because you just wont be sleeping if you come here on a Friday-Saturday. Place has its own club 9open til 2am) on the ground floor which it doesnt advertise on website, but worse still there is a...

I surprised my boyfriend with a trip to Copenhagen for his 30th birthday, and spent hours upon hours checking out best deals and best hotels Etc to stay in. I was deflated a lot of the time as people tend to leave negative reviews for silly things, and expect a 5 star standard when paying for a 3 star. I...

The location of this hotel is excellent; the reception staff are professional and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Other reviewers have commented on rooms being on the small side; maybe the secret is to ask for a twin bedded room which we did and were given a large room at the rear of the hotel which was quiet and...

The hotel is located in the heart of Copenhagen, just a 10 minute walk away from the Kongens Nytorv metro station. The service is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable (although not very spacious). The best thing about this hotel is (without a doubt) the breakfast buffet! The staff will even go the extra mile to greet you...

Let's start with the positives. (1) The young man on reception is outstanding. He deserves to be working somewhere better. (2) The shower is very good: good water flow, adjustable temperature, good space, well ventilated. (3) The breakfast was also plentiful and good. As for the rating? If this hotel is an indication of how far money goes in Denmark,...

When I am in Europe, I want location above all else and a clean comfortable bed. I got this at the 1st H27 but came away impressed beyond expectation. Just prior to arrival, my 89 year old father had fallen and cut hs knee and elbow. I casually asked the young man who checked us in if he happened to...

Positive aspects: 1.very central located, just 2 blocks from the main commercial area 2. great breakfast buffet(scramble eggs,bacon,3 types of bread, jam, Nutella, butter, cheese and ham) it is busy close to the 9:30 am- a good investment since eating in Copenhagen can be pricey 3. rooms are" modern"equipped - means no out date furniture 4. there are elevators and a safe in...

Had a 2 night stay here in the first week of Sep 2013 and can't praise the hotel enough. I think my friend and I were very lucky with our room as it was very big indeed. I did pop my hear round the door of other rooms and can agree with some other reviewers they are tiny so like...

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
