The location of the hotel was excellent, near the train station, yet quiet enough, and most attraction in the center of the city. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The staff at the reception were polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good. If there was more variety in cheese types, it would be perfect. The only minus was...

Perfectly located. Great service and good value for money, especially the included breakfast option. Preferred the smaller hotel option, as opposed to the soulless big hotel chains. The Meatpacking district offered great local restaurant options - booking is recommended and can be done online. Quick access to the central station from where trains run to all areas of Copenhagen. The...

Hotel with good location and easy access. The staff is friendly and professional. Has a great breakfast. The wine free hour, at the end of the day, is an excellent idea after a day in the beautiful city of Copenhagen. Highly recommend. Good experience!

The hotel is situated in an excellent location, very near to the train station. Our room had a cozy and stylish decoration, was clean and quiet. We enjoyed a rich breakfast with a variety to choose from. Overall a very satisfying experience.

Had a lovely stay at the Anderson for a short break in Copenhagen. Only a short walk to the train station which has great connections to the rest of the city and crucially to the airport. All the main sites are within walking distance, if you're feeling energetic or you can get the S train or metro from the station...

Recently refurbished but some building work still going on which detracted a bit from the stay. Even the superior double was quite small although recently refurbished but looking at floor plans on fire escape chart this was one of the larger on that floor! Location was good for station and attractions but service offered in the hotel was pretty limited...

We had a fantastic few days there for my husband' birthday. Location is excellent. Breakfast was beautiful and the free wine hour at 5.30pm-6.30pm was just a lovely touch and a great way to meet others. Def recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

A great hotel, well situated and excellent service. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was high quality and well laid out. Near to the station and excellent restaurants in the meatpacking area. The hotel made great recommendations and booked for us. Worth the cost for a lovely quiet break.

My wife and I stayed at The Anderson Hotel for 4 nights, the week leading up to Easter. We found this 'Boutique' Trendy Hotel, very much to our liking. The hotel has been decorated in recent years and had just had new double glazing and air conditioning units fitted, and finished, the week we arrived. The hotel is ideally located...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
