Very small room, hardly a gap between bed and wardrobe/wall, hard to move around. not much hanging space either and only a midget could have a proper bath. The location is good but be warned there are still several sex shops nearby and in the evening a few working girls on the corners.

My husband and I spent three nights here at the end of June. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Our room was at the back and although small, it was very nicely furnished with an excellent bathroom. We heard some noise early on our first morning because the bins were being collected but apart from that...

Clean and fine room, the glass of wine upon arrival did it for me, the staff was so polite and kind, bathroom perfect, large TV for those who like to relax with a bit of sports or a film, late checkout (12:15 yielded no complaints, staff so polite!)

Good location near to the train station, I had a room on the third floor and which overlooked the rear courtyard - so very quiet and no disturbance. The room was small but I was on my own so no problem for me. The bed is very comfortable and the wifi was strong. The bathroom was nice with Moulton Brown...

This hotel is near central station and Tivoli garden. Hotel's rooms and other facilities are in good condition because of a recent renovation. You can reach major attractions by walking or by bicyle. You can rent a bicycle from the hotel. Hotel is nearby the redlight zone and you can hear some noise during the night. Breakfast is very succesfull.

Came to Copenhagen for couples city break from the UK. Got the train from airport to Copenhagen Central and left via back - you can see the Andersen hotel sign once outside. Greeted with happy faces, checked us in flawlessly and explained all the perks including room service, wine hour and breakfast. Gorgeous room, unique design and colour scheme -...

We have now visited Copenhagen three times and have stayed at this hotel on each occasion. The staff are welcoming and efficient. The rooms are bright and clean. Facilities are good. The breakfast is first class and plentiful.

Excellent choice and super friendly and knowledgable front desk staff. Breakfast was included and there was a good choice. Whilst perhaps not in the best area (red light district) it was a short walk from the excellent meat packing district with wide choice of bars and restaurants

We stayed for four days and were very pleased with the friendly staff at the reception and the perfectly central location. We had a family room and could just about fit in with our two small children and luggage. Very compact and practical. We enjoyed the insulated windows which meant we were not bothered by the street noice despite the...

We stayed for two nights. The location is good for a city visit, close to the station and handy for the sites. However, the room was so small we could not walk round the bed, and we were kept awake both nights by drunks, prostitutes and customers yelling outside our window. On the other hand, the breakfast was good, the...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
