We stayed here for 3 nights and it was fantastic! There was a special going on and we were able to upgrade to a Club Room for an additional charge and this was real value! Pros - Location - Room size - Cleanliness - Polite and professional staff CONS - Not enough umbrellas to lend out to guests during the...

Spent a night here in connection with meetings and everything worked well. The room was nice and functional, as was the meeting room we used. The breakfast and lunch restaurant serves very good food, the selection is not huge but everything there is high quality. Only small issue was the bartender in the evening, who seemed to be a bit...

Nice modern hotel with classy interior. Helful service minded staff. We stayed in one of the top executive rooms. There is supposed to be an executive lounge at the top of the hotel, but this is moved to the bottom for some reason. Breakfast was included for the executive rooms, but according to some other travellers we met, the conventional...

The location? Perfect. Easy walking distance to all the major sites and cultural destinations, yet not so in-the-thick-of-things that it is insufferable. A lovely site right on the inner harbour. Rooms are spacious, well-outfitted and have views no matter which side of the hotel your room is on. The executive lounge is first rate and great value. The service was...

The check-in was efficient and very pleasant. The receptionist was friendly, very chatty and really helpful; I wish all Marriot hotel staff were as friendly as he was. My room had an amazing view over the harbour (it was room number 542). Upon entering the room I was impressed by the view over the harbour, the uncluttered appearance of the...

Lovely hotel with beautiful water views of Copenhagen. Rooms are spacious, friendly staff, great lounge area (a big thank you to James), and great location (especially if you are coming into Copenhagen via Central).

This was my first visit to Copenhagen and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed my 3-night stay at the Marriott. The hotel was within walking distance to the central train station and easily accessible to the Hop-On/Hop-Off tour bus that stops in front of the hotel. The hotel is located on the water and the view my room was...

First time in Copenhagen and we couldn´t be more pleased with our choice. Although not centrally located, the hotel sits by the river which proportionates amazing views (sunrise and sunset if you're lucky with the weather as we were). Since they have rental bikes available, we found out that it was the best transportation option to go everywhere in Copenhagen....

Very good hotel. Extreamly confortable beds and pillows but unfortunately very expensive too. We had a room on executive level, 2 double beds with Tivoli view, top floor. The room was very quiet. The Tivoli is so far away that view is worth of calling "Tivoli view". The distance to Tivoli is less than 1km so it is very convenient...

Staying in Inner Vesterbro

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
